It’s time for our annual FQS Stitch May-nia!
May is a month to go wild with cross stitch projects. Whether it’s starting new pieces, finishing WIPs, or focusing on that chart you’ve been meaning to stitch, diving into some cross stitch is what FQS Stitch May-nia is all about.
In 2015, Stitch Maynia started as a Facebook Group by Garrett Kilgore (Coffeestitcher) and Katy Agruso (The Stash Queen). Kimberly loved this idea, and we began our own annual stitch-a-thon of sorts, called FQS Stitch May-nia.
Kimberly has put her own twist on this month-long event by stitching a few patterns and breaking them up during the month of May. This year she plans to stitch seven projects for the 31 days in May, and you can find her schedule if you read on!
FQS Stitch May-nia lasts throughout May, with a special surprise to kick off the month a few days early. The all-new Summer Home Mystery Pattern Series is an invitation to curl up, get cozy and stitch all month long. Start with us on April 29 to enjoy this 5-part series as a mystery! After May 31, the full cross stitch will be revealed.
Summer Home Mystery Pattern Series
There’s no place like this sweet Summer Home! Whether it’s a destination or a state of mind, Summer Home is where we’re headed. The Summer Home Downloadable PDF Cross Stitch Pattern Series will take you to the coziest of your memories and remind you there really is no place quite like home. Kimberly will be stitching this pattern throughout May.
How Summer Home Works
If you order your Summer Home Cross Stitch Pattern before April 29, you will receive your Summer Home Supply List immediately, and all of your patterns will be delivered via email every Friday for five weeks.
If you order after April 29, we will add your first pattern release to your FQS account along with the supply list and email you each pattern after.
Pattern Release Schedule:
- Part 1: April 29
- Part 2: May 6
- Part 3: May 13
- Part 4: May 20
- Part 5: May 27
Please note: if you order anytime after April 29, any patterns that have been released will be available immediately with your supply list. You will only receive the email deliveries for the patterns that have yet to be released at the time of your order.

If you want to organize each project, then we recommend you pick up a copy of our Cross Stitch Journal. It allows you to record details for every cross stitch project, such as pattern, designer, time spent, and floss and cloth used.
