We’ve sewn right through another month of the Farm Girl Vintage 2 Quilt Along! It’s been quite a ride and there is still a way to go! We’re sew excited to see your progress. There are 45 blocks of the Farm Girl Vintage 2 Sampler Quilt and we are 18 in! This much-anticipated sequel to Farm Girl Vintage features 6″ and 12″ quilt blocks, inspired by Lori Holt’s rural roots. She has also designed 13 new projects, including quilts, pillows and a pincushion that use these cute-as-can-bee blocks!
We covered Weeks 2 though 6 last month and now we’re catching up on blocks 13 through 20.
Week 7: Blocks 13 and 14
Quilty staffer Teresa sewed up this boot-scootin Farm Girl Boots block and that sew-yummy Fall Harvest! If you’re making the Farm Girl Vintage 2 Sampler Quilt, you’ll want to make these two blocks at 6″.
Week 8: Blocks 15 and 16
Teresa sewed Farm to Table and Friendly Goat next! In keeping with a floral theme, this goat looks ready to graze in its happy little field of friendly flowers. These are sewn as 12″ blocks.
Week 9: Blocks 17 and 18
During Week 9, Teresa pulled up in Grandpa’s Truck! This vintage blue pick-up looks to be hauling a heavy harvest! She also sewed up some sweet yarn spools for the Grandma’s Crochet block! These blocks are sewn at 12″.
Week 10: Blocks 19 and 20
For week 10, Teresa sewed her Hand Mixer block at 12″ and her Happy Flowers block at 6″.

Without further ado, let’s see some project inspiration for blocks 13-20. These can be saved for the Sampler Quilt or made into a quick and easy pillow or mini quilt. Tell us which block you are on in the comments!

Sew Along Schedule
The Farm Girl Vintage Sew Along starts today and runs through Friday, April 3, 2020. Each month on our blog, we’re sharing Farm Girl Vintage 2 blocks, along with additional settings and projects found in Farm Girl Vintage 2. We’ve invited quilters to make the blocks for the Sampler Quilt or any of the other inventive projects found in the book.
The goal is to make two blocks each week so that you’ll be ready to show off your finished quilt on April 24, 2020. We invite you to join us in sharing your progress with #FarmGirlFridays!
