There's a heaven made behind each door
We'll see things we never saw before, & we'll sing (chorus)

  5. I think the song should be "Taking Care of Business" by Bachman Turner Overdrive.

If I was at quilt market, I would be on a mission to see all the booths and meet all the designers.

  6. "Happy Days Are Here Again".

Being surrounded by friends near & far, so much creativity, so much pretty fabric, so much take home swag. What's not to be happy about?

  7. How about "I'm So Excited" by The Pointer Sisters?
"I'm about to lose control, and I think I like it…."
    Yep, that would be me…

  9. Oh, I was thinking of so many like, All My Fabric Lives in Texas, or I Love The Flower Girl, was she a dream to me, and, Looking 9-5 what a way to make a living, yes it's 9-5 and the booths all look so thrilling! My favorite, Well Hello Quilt Market, yes hello quilt market, it's so nice to be back here where I belong. (I was making up a whole song). jlblvn at gmail dot com

    Linda W.

  12. I don't know why but the Star Wars theme popped into my head when I read this. So I guess I'll go with that 😉

  13. Happy – Pharrel Williams? love the song because it does make me happy – but I'm not sure how he spells his first name – what can make a quilter happier than walking among all the fabric and goodies that y'all have at market

  14. I think if I were walking the aisles at Market, the song playing in my head would be Louie Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World"! Thanks for a chance to win!

  16. You might think this crazy, but I'm hearing "You Are My Sunshine" in my head over & over – no matter how dreary or sad a day is, wandering around fabric stalls and viewing all the pretty patterns always brightens up the day & lightens up the mood.

Thank you for sharing all the beauty (and the loot!)

  17. Well…the very first thought I had was more nursery rhyme,,but set to music of course! lol "To Market, To Market"…you know..to buy a fat pig…but change to "To buy a bundle..fat quarters that is!" giggle

  18. The song would be the old coke song "I 'd like to teach the world to sing". But change the word sing to sew. Perfect….

  19. It would have to be "Somewhere Over The Rainbow"!
    "Somewhere over the rainbow
    Way up high
There's a land that I heard of once in a lullaby

    Somewhere over the rainbow
    Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true

Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
    Away above the chimney tops
    That's where you'll find me"

  20. I think it would have to be "It's A Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong! Oh, all those beautiful fabrics make it a wonderful world!!

    Kim

  21. The booths are just magical with everything from butterflies and leaves to frozen themed booths. Magic by Olivia Newton John comes to mind for this years quilt market.

  22. "Something Bad About to Happen" by Miranda Lambert & Carrie Underwood, because next week at Quilt Fest I think I might blow my budget!

  23. "I Fall to Pieces," (each time I see the new designs) by Patsy Cline. The last phrase was rewritten, of course. 🙂 Looking forward to see all of you this Friday.

  24. The Happy song…. because we all know how much work it takes to get to market and once you are there it is just Happy to be there an soak it all in. Plus all that fabric would make me Happy as long as I could buy what ever I wanted! Thanks for a chance to win. Janita

  25. LOVE IS IN THE AIR. Is what I think of when I see all of the beautiful fabric and talented people. Would love to be there !!! 🙂

  26. OMGosh it would have to be the Happy song by Pharrell, that's how I feel reading this scrumptious post!!

    Have Fun!!
    Nancy

  27. I like Material World or Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!!!! I know I would be having all kinds of fun looking at all the goodies and we do live in a material world…

  28. Penny Lane-It always makes me happy and seeing that much fabric at once would make me VERY, very happy.
Thanks for the chance to win!

  29. I love the suggestions like "Happy" or "Be Happy" but for me, cause I am not at Market or Festival drooling…. I would sing "All By Myself! 🙂

  30. Quilt Market looks like a girl party, so I think I would the song I'd pick would be something on the lines of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun or something to sashay down the aisles, like, True Blue.

  31. I don't know if the show would have a theme song, but my theme song if I got to go would The Happiest Girl in the Whole USA!!!

  32. Since my grandmother was a quilter, I keep thinking of a song she used to sing to me at bedtime – What can the matter be? It talks about how Johnny went to buy a "bonnie blue ribbon" to tie up this girls hair, but he's not back yet – "Johnny's so long at the fair." Well, Johnny may have been at Quilt Market and was picking up not only ribbon, but fabric and notions to bring home to me!

  33. Hahaha — the first thing that popped into my head is the Cotton theme song — "The touch, the feel of cotton. The fabric of our lives!

  34. Years ago, I re-wrote the lyrics to Sesame Streets "I Love Trash" – Oscar's song – to "I Love Fabric."
The lyrics went somthing like this..
    Oh, I love fabric
Anything Hoffman or from Jenny Beyer,
Alexander Henry, you sure light my fire
Oh, I love, I love, I love fabric!

(There were more verses, but you get the idea!)

  35. One of my favorites is Best Day of My Life. And that would definitely be one of them if that Aloha bundle showed up on my doorstep!

  36. I would be singing, "I'm Walking on Sunshine" if I were to be so fortunate to be there with all of you. Would be a dream come true!

  37. Theme song would be Celebration because Quilt Market is a Celebration of Fabric and Quilting. Thank you for this great giveaway. Have a super great day.

  38. I think it would have to be "Don't Worry, Be Happy" by Bobby McFerrin.

I mean, really who would have a care in the world to worry about when at Market with all that fun?

  39. I have 2: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun or Somewhere Over the Rainbow- take your pick! Thanks for the giveaway chance!
    Susan

  40. I'm terrible at name that tune but the lyric that comes to mind is 'give me more, give me more….' more pics of new fabric, more new fabric lines to fall in love with. Cindy/ bluemoonstencils at yahoo dot com

  41. Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue (and pink and purple and red and green and yellow and orange and brown and black and white . . . .) Thanks for all the wonderful eye candy!

  42. I think it would have to be "Material Girl" by Madonna. It would be even better if I were skinny enough to wear a bustier and 6 inch spiked heels.

  43. Every time Market comes around I can't help but think of the nursery rhyme "To market, to market."
To market, to market, to buy a fat pig. Home again, home again, jiggety-jig.
    Hahaha. Cheers!

  44. I guess I'd have to say that Don't Worry, Be Happy! should be the theme song. With all that goes on at market….you need to have a good attitude to get through those busy, bustling and sometimes brutal days.

  45. "I am Woman" and so glad of it when I see all this beautiful fabric. Especially since if I ever get to come here, it would be with my best friends. My quilting buddies.

  46. Oh my so many great song choices but I would have to choose Girls just wanna have fun or " my favorite Things from the Sound of Music.
Loved some of the other songs- like Happy and We are the champions. Color my world is a terrific song too.
Thanks for the chance to win one of these pretty bundles.
    Regards from Alberta,
    Anna

  47. My suggestion was going to be "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves, but I think the idea of "I Want Candy" from another commenter was pure genius!

  48. The song that popped into my head was "I'm Walking on Sunshine" because it must be such a happy feeling to walk around all the beautiful booths! When I looked up the lyrics one line talked about the excitement of waiting for the mail. That's how I feel every time I order fabric!
    tstanulis@verizon.net

  49. I would choose the music from the motion picture "How To Make An American Quilt" which is "An American Quilt".
    Anna V.

  50. I think "Pretty Woman" would be appropriate. A great beat to keep a lively step, and you all must feel so pretty to be among all that gorgeous fabric, the ideas, sights and sounds!

  51. The song for Quilt Market would be:

The Fabric of My Life by Jazmine Sullivan or the original singers from many years ago!

  52. The Christmas song, "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year". That song would be perfect! ;-> Have enough fun for ALL of us.

  53. I would choose "Good Day Sunshine" by the Beatles. I loved the dresses in the Michael Miller Booth and the fabric too!

  54. It may be sexist, but I'm going with "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!".

Not the first time I've gone with that anthem, LOL!

  55. Material girl by Madonna… Yes living in a Material world …a Moda girl …an Aloha girl … A Bonnie and Camille girl really I am ….

  56. "Gimme Gimme" is the title, there are 2 songs with this title one from Abba and one from the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie, they both about love, I am changing that to love of fabric. 🙂

    Thanks for the chance.

  57. Do you want to build a quilt-top? Come on let's go and stitch, you will never see me anymore, I've shut the door, I'm quilting up a storm. Who needs friends when you've got Moda and Riley Blake, look there's another one done! Do you want to build a quilt-top, not just any other quilt top, okay, bye! (Credit goes to my daughter for making up the words on the fly, to Disney for the movie Frozen and the song Do You Want to Build A Snowman.)

  58. Quilt Market's theme song would be Takin' it to the Streets since all of the new fabric lines and items can be seen on the streets of Quilt Market.

  59. I think if I were there, looking out over ALL. THAT. FABRIC. I'd be hearing the Hallelujah Chorus. Maybe that's just me?

  60. I have to say Candyland. When I look at all these pictures they are filled with quilters candy!!

  61. "On the Good Ship, Lollipop" I'm not sure if that's the actual name but that's the tune I keep hearing when I look at pictures of all this eye candy!

  62. Can you just hear Julie Andrews or Carrie Underwood singing the quilter's version of "My Favorite Things?

"precuts and yardage, wool applique mittens,

rulers and templates, some yarn for my kittens.

stacks of fat quarters all tied up in strings,

these are a few of my favorite things…"

    Mary J. B.

  63. 'Whistle while you work'. I cannot whistle, but I often sing along to the radio as I sew. The market is work for many people, but it also seems to have a cheery element of fun.
Two of my favourite fabric designers are FT and B&C!

  64. The first thing that popped into my head was "Take Me Home" by John Denver. When I went to look up the proper title I found out two things…one, it is called "Country Roads", the point was to take all of it home from market!…and two, Take me Home" by One Direction has some awesome lyrics that when applied to all things quilty, esp. fabric, are kind of fun! "You can get, get anything that you want", "And you just wanna take me home", "Everytime we touch, You get this kinda ru-u-ush.", "Oh, I just wanna show you off to all of my friends
Makin' them drool down their chiney chin chins"!!! LOL! Fun, fun fun!

  65. I have three suggestions as one might get tired of hearing the same one over and over.

    1. Cotton Fields of Home
    2. Seamless
    3. Silver Thread and Golden Needles.

  66. Well I have Wanna Build a Snowman in my head right now since you mentioned it but that gets old after awhile. I think it should be a playlist of all songs with the word "Happy". I would be so happy to be there.

  67. I love Material Girl and Happy by Pharrel, BUT fabric is such a part of our lives, it keeps us going and happy/ So "Wind beneath my Wings" I know really mushy right!
    xo jan

  68. The theme song would be "I Don't Want to Miss A Thing" by Aerosmith! (ok wee-ooh, wee-ooh, have to let you guys know that number I have to type to prove I'm not a robot is ONE NUMBER OFF the steps I guessed that Kim took!!!! I said 15533 and my number is 155532 that I have to type…Twilight Zone revisited…) Thanks for the fun while I lived vicariously through you gals!

  69. I think the theme song would be "Happy" by Pharrell Williams. Who would not be happy surrounded by all of the wonderful new fabric lines and goodies?

    Tami
    tamiquilts at att dot net

  70. I don't remember the name of the guy that sang the song, but it's

    "Don't worry……Be Happy"

I think I would be really happy if I was at quilt market.
