Fall Market 09: Day 2 - Ready, Set, Go! - The Jolly Jabber Quilting Blog

Fall Market 09: Day 2 – Ready, Set, Go!

Between appointments today we were able to stop by a few of the great booths here at Market. It’s been a long day, but we’ve had a great time talking with some of your favorite pattern and fabric designers.

First time meeting with Amanda of Quilted Fish – really cute patterns. Hopefully we will see more of her.
Scott Jarrard at his booth with Free Spirit.
Kimberly and Anne Sutton together at the Bunny Hill Designs booth.

A little sneak peak at the newest Paper Dolls collection with Blue Hill Fabrics.

McKenna Ryan of Pine Needle Designs at her booth. We bought her new collection.
Katie Hennigar was at Market to debut her first collection, Chirp, with Robert Kaufman.
The Fat Quarter Shop gang at the Fig Tree booth.
Don’t Mary’s Cottage Quilts’ just beachy bags make you want to take a trip to the coast?
We are loving the new line from Fig Tree, Whimsy – it is so cute!
We followed the Mad Hatter down the rabbit hole, and found the lovely Bunny’s Designs. They specialize in Japanese import fabric and pattern design.
Mary of Mary’s Cottage Quilts at her booth, she might write a guest blog for us – very exciting!
Gudrun of G.E. Designs, with her new fabric line and quilt patterns.

Keep watching the Jolly Jabber and we will have some more Market updated tomorrow!! But remember if you need your fix sooner – we are on twitter!!

  1. on yourlast post, I forgot to mention Pat Sloan, her books are great for the self-taught (or book taught) quilter and her new line Georga is SO COOL!!!

  2. Since I can't be there, it is always fun to see the booths of fantastic patterns and fabrics. Thanks for taking the time to share with us.

  3. You look great, Kimberly! The booth pictures are all wonderful. Love the Mary's Cottage Quilts and G.E. Designs booths. And, of course, Bunny Hill!

  4. Mad love for all your Market updates and tweets, Kimberly. I know you put a lot, lot, lot of time into this – and it's sooooooo appreciated.

If blogging IQM were a cooking show competition… you'd be Top Chef! Ok, that sounded really good in my head… hope that came out right in text.

PS… I love the other pic of Jocelyn… I giggle just thinking about it. I'm so easily entertained.
