Hi Jolly Jabbers! Mary and I are so excited to be featured here on the Jolly Jabber with our newest collection for Moda. Meet Giggles!
This collection is filled with the bright and happy colors you have come to expect from us.
FYI … This is one of my favorite views of a Jelly Roll!
The side view! Just thought I’d add that little tid-bit. You’ll need to keep that information in mind for the giveaway a little later.
Mary and I usually start each new fabric project with a piece of paper and a pencil. It’ s funny because with all the technology and computer programs available, we still rely on the old “doodle” approach. Our fabric design process is very basic and simple. If you saw the way we send in our ideas for the prints you would be amazed at how simple the layouts really are.
This new group includes some large florals and lots of good blenders like bright dots and tiny flowers.
It makes me giggle just thinking about them!
We have 3 all new patterns that go with the collection too …
We do USE the computer to design our patterns! Not to worry, we don’t write those out by hand!
Pin Curls is one of our favorites this time. It’s funny how one quilt always takes that position. We like the others too but this one just popped to the front for us!
This photo was taken at Quilt Market in Portland of the Pin Curls quilt hanging in the Moda booth. One of the On The 45 quilts is hanging out of the drawer.
Our favorite print in the collection would have to be this one …
No, not all of them! It’s the one on the top of this fat quarter bundle. Mary’s favorite background is the pink one. No surprise there! My favorite happens to be the one on the yellow background. It’s usually this first print that sets the tone for the group and the other prints are built around it.

The answer is – The Side View – which is exactly how I love to look at Jellies. I have loved loved loved all of the collections from Me & My Sister Designs, so bright cheery and fun, Giggles will be joining her sisters very very soon 🙂

Her favorite view is the top view where you can see the rainbow.
I've been following the sisters for a while now and they are always a hoot. I can't wait to hopefully someday meet them in person. They are so like me and my 3 sisters.
