Q: What inspired you to pick the colors and designs in your Designer Select Fat Quarter Bundle?
A: Terrain is the first line I’ve designed using some of my personal favorite colors including periwinkle, navy and teal so i was naturally drawn to using the cooler color range. Moda created two Bella Solids (9900-168 and 9900-175) to match the deep iris blue-purple and moss green, so when i picked the designs for the bundle i made sure to coordinate with the solids. The “Seedpod”, “Stonecrop” and “Forest Floor” prints stand out as among my favorites in the line so i couldn’t resist including them!

  71. I think the lie is #1 bungee jumping. I love Terrain. I got the Fat Quarter bundle of the entire collection and am making the Terrain Project Sheet quilt as a king size–with 64 blocks. It is looking good so far.

  165. They each sound about as plausible or ridiculous as the other…I'm guessing bungee jumping (#1) is not true. My reasoning? Anyone can do something wacky in high school, like entering a hot dog eating contest–and even, winning it. And once you own one or two of something, like Smurfs, people just keep giving them to you, so I can see how you'd get to 100. I would love to win this drawing–thanks for the beautiful line of fabric.

  378. I am going with #2 the hot dog eating contest. Only because I have a collection of 100+ teddy bears and I know several people who have bungee jumped but I don't know anyone who won an eating contest of any kind so of the 3 I think that is the least likely (although still possible!)

  459. Well she made a Smurf baby quilt so she probablly had a collection. I think she is brave enough to go into the rough waters but I think she may have some trouble jumping off in places.
