The Around the Block quilt pattern features the adorable, Christmas-themed collection Sugar Plum Christmas by Bunny Hill Designs for Moda fabric.  The Around the Block Quilt Kit finishes at 34.5″ x 34.5″!
This new Little P pattern, Confetti Star, finishes at size 33.5″ x 33.5″. The pre made Quilt Kit includes the sweet collection, Guernsey, by Brenda Riddle Designs for Moda.
Coney Island by Fig Tree Quilts is featured in the new Floret quilt pattern.  The fabric included in the Quilt Kit result in a stunning 42.5″ x 42.5″ finished product.

We’re onto block five of the Applique All Day series with Anne Sutton from Bunny Hill Designs! This week, Anne designed a darling block that reminds us of a popular nursery rhyme! The Teapot block and the rest of the blocks in this six-part applique series are exclusive to Fat Quarter Shop and are free to download from our free pattern page!

This block design is perfectly composed of a fabric collection that reminds us to cherish handmade items — Handmade by Bonnie & Camille for Moda Fabrics. The variety of large and small prints makes the Handmade collection extremely versatile for projects, and adds so much charm!

Applique All Day Series: Block #3 – Woodland

It’s time for part three in our Applique All Day series! Anne Sutton from Bunny Hill Designs designed an Christmas-themed block that is sure to show your holiday spirit. This Woodland block and the rest of the blocks in this six-part series are exclusive to Fat Quarter Shop and are free to download!

This block uses the raw edge applique style! We used fusible appliques with top stitch, to give the block a casual and quick look!

The Fern Hill collection by Jan Patek for Moda Fabrics is the perfect collection for the Woodland block! The neutral, warm and earthy tones really bring the tree to life! Fern Hill pairs perfectly with the Nostalgia Aurifil 80 wt applique thread set.

Spooky Delights Tablerunner Quilt Along with FREE Pattern: Week 1!

 
 
Welcome to our new Spooky Delights Quilt Along! Our three week event will introduce you to this adorable tablerunner and get you in the mood for some Halloween sewing.  Too early, you say? October will be here before you know it, and fabric companies are releasing their Halloween collections now, so it’s the perfect time to sew!
 
Plus, our Quilt Along will be all delight – no fright – since we’ve got some talented quilters joining us in making this tablerunner with fabrics of their own choosing. Inspiration will abound – what a treat! Oh, and the best news yet? This is a free pattern that we’ll be sharing here on the blog (for a limited time).
