Bee Patriotic Sew Along

Get ready for red, white and blue sew along. We’re excited to share with you this sew along with Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet. Join us as we re-visit Lori Holt’s Vintage Christmas Book with an all-new quilt that’s worthy of a 5-star salute. Step into Lori’s scrappy happy vintage world this summer, starting June 1, 2020.

This quilt is so pretty in a red, blue and aqua color palette!

There are two quilt sizes you can choose from by sewing up either 6″ blocks or 12″ blocks. The small quilt measures 35.5″ x 43.5″ and the large quilt finishes at 70.5″ x 86.5″. To help you make the quilt, we have Bee Patriotic Starter Fat Quarter Bundle.

The Bee Patriotic Starter Bundle has 44 Fat Quarters from a variety of Lori Holt fabric collections.

Schedule

In this Bee Patriotic Sew Along, you’ll be making three blocks a week for four weeks for a total of twelve blocks. In the fifth week, sashing, background and binding are added for the big finish! To make the quilt, you will need to order the book and follow along on Lori Holt’s blog each Monday in June.

  1. I am so glad you post these ideas.

    The creativity is amazing.

    Thanks a bunch,

  2. Awesome! I love the colors in this quilt. I purchased the Christmas book after it came out because I wanted to make my two granddaughters a Christmas quilt. They received their quilts last Christmas. They turned out so cute. I used the 6 inch blocks. Now I can’t wait to do the patriotic one for me!
