I would probably mix the fabric in with others in a quilt as many are versatile blenders. The thread woul be used with everything. It is hard to find locally, but since ordering a couple from FQS, I know how well it sews, especially for hand sewing.

I have had this wild idea to make a mini to hang on my office wall since Architextures came out. Botanics just added to the desiree. My husband and I are commercial general contractors so you can see why I am drawn to these lines. Now, if my job would quit getting in the way of my quilting I might just get that mini done.

The colors in this Botanics fabric and thread collection are rich yet subtle. Although they would be perfect for almost any room in my home, I would make my daughter a quilt for the apartment she is moving into on May 1st. I love colour, and I NEED colour, as it is not nearly green enough for me yet! I love Aurifil and with the Botanics, I would make a snazzy colourful bag to take with me to the Farmers' Market, where I was this morning!

The Botanical colors are absolutely luscious–both fabric and thread. I can see a big quilt in those colors on my bed. what a way to celebrate Spring and Summer in all their glory.
