Introducing the KONA 2022 Color of the Year!

The 2022 KONA Color of the Year is here and we can’t wait to sew up a new quilt with it! This intergalactic color urges us to look up at the starry heavens! This year’s color of the year is Cosmos, a stunning purple that can take any quilt project to the stars! We are excited to use our new favorite Kona Cotton Solid, and we are looking forward to seeing it appear in your creations.

Who doesn’t love another great basic to add to their fabric stash? Robert Kaufman chooses one color from their KONA Cottons each year as their Color of the Year and designs free patterns and projects to display the bright color chosen to represent that year. Last year’s chosen color was Horizon.

  1. Looking forward to incorporating this color into my quilts. I have two family members whose favorite color is purple and this will add sparkle to fabrics I already have in projects I make for them!

  2. Purple is one of my favorite colors. And I would use this new color in a quilt to commemorate my 75th birthday this year.
Looking forward to beginning a new quarter of my life!

  3. I would love to work with Jollyjabbers club but so far I am missing getting my sewsampler boxes. Please let me try this new club
