Welcome back to the Fat Quarter Shop 2021 Charity Quilt Along, Serendipity! You’re going to fall in love with this next part of the pattern! The Windfall Row is a combination of Flying Geese and Courthouse Steps. Let’s gather our supplies and get started!
DOWNLOAD RELEASE THREE PATTERN
For this row you have the option to use a traditional piecing method for making Flying Geese or to use the 3”x 6″ Flying Geese Foundation Paper. Our pattern gives instructions for both. We’re sewing with the Spring Brook fabric collection designed by Corey Yoder for Moda Fabrics. If you’re sewing with something different, here are the fabric requirements to make this year’s charity quilt.

As we embark on our 8th Annual Charity Quilt we continue to be amazed by the generosity of this sewing community and inspired by the stories of the children who have been granted life-changing Wishes. How does this fundraiser work? We offer the Serendipity patterns as FREE downloads during the event for a suggested donation of $5 each to our Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas campaign. Or feel free to make a larger, one-time donation of $50. No amount is too small and every bit counts.

Bonus Finishing Patterns for Serendipity
For each milestone goal we hit with our fundraiser, we will be releasing extra finishing patterns you can use with the blocks. We’ll release them for each stretch goal reached! Thanks to your generous donations, we’ve already raised over $50,000! With your help, we have met our $50,000 goal… and now we want to give even more! If we reach $70,000, then we will be able to grant 10 wishes through Make-A-Wish. We’re more than halfway to our goal, so today we’re releasing our third bonus pattern today!
