Serendipity Quilt Along

We have a great lineup of quilters quilting along with us! Our quilters used a mix of the quilt kit and their own fabrics to make their blocks. Click on each of the photos to see them up close and see the fabrics they’re sewing with! Here are some of their finished pieced backings:

Serendipity Quilt Auction

This year’s charity quilt along benefits Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas! Each $10,000 raised grants a Wish to a child with a life-threatening illness. The quilting community has donated over $81,00 to date, and we hope to raise even more with our Serendipity Quilt Auction on Ebay!

We are sew excited to have 5 quilts up for auction!
100% of the sale of these quilts will benefit Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas to support their wish-granting work for children with critical illnesses. The auction is open on Ebay now through Saturday, July 24 at 7 AM CST.

The quilts for auction are:

Quilter, teacher, designer, and author Pat Sloan has made this vibrant Serendipity quilt for the fundraiser auction from her fabric collection, Morrison Park for Benartex Fabrics. Lovingly pieced and quilted, with the addition of Pat’s trademark quilt label on the back, this brightly colored quilt is certainly a treasure. You can view the auction HERE.

Corey Yoder of Coriander Quilts is auctioning off her Serendipity Quilt made with her collection, Apricot & Ash for Moda Fabrics. This is such a beautiful quilt in soft apricot and gray tones that warm your home. You can view the auction HERE.

Kimberly is auctioning off her Serendipity quilt! Hers is the quilt shown in our official photos and videos, made with the Spring Brook fabric collection designed by Corey Yoder for Moda Fabrics. You can view the auction HERE.

Up for auction are two Sewcialites Quilts! There are two sizes: a 9″ Block Quilt and a  6″ Block Quilt. They’re made with Homestead by April Rosenthal for Moda Fabrics. Kimberly put a lot of love into both of these quilts, and there is a special Sweetwater label on each quilt. You can view the full auction HERE.

100% of auction proceeds will be going to Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas! The auction ends Saturday, July 24 at 7 AM CST so be sure to follow it for your chance to bid!
