Welcome back to my latest quilting recap! It’s a summertime roundup of my most recent finished quilts. Since my last recap post in the spring, I’ve kept my Juki busy with projects big and small. I’m sharing all the quilty details from this past season below.
Buttercups Mini Quilt
The Buttercups Mini Quilt is an adorable pattern from Fig Tree & Co. that measures 33″ square. I made a mini version of the original quilt by sewing one quarter of the whole design.

Sewcialites Blocks with Maple Leaf Setting
If you’ve been tuning into our Friday Livestreams, then you’ll know about our Sewcialites Quilt Along. I’ve made a few quilts with the Sewcialites blocks, and for this one in particular I placed twelve 9″ blocks into the the Maple Leaf Quilt Pattern setting. We’ll auction this quilt in July to benefit Make-a-Wish as part of our 2021 Serendipity Charity Quilt Along.

Laundry Basket Quilts Mystery Quilt 2021
Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts created this beautiful free pattern called the Laundry Basket Mystery Quilt 2021. I made my squares smaller than Edyta, so my quilt is half the size of her design. I usually use an all-over floral print for my quilt backings, and this print from Flea Market by Lori Holt fit the bill perfectly.

I love everything Kimberly does and wish I could do them all. I have tremors that cause me to work very slow and try to do what I can now–just wish I had a Quilt Fairy that could cut for me (haha). This was a wonderful post to read. Thank you Kimberly for what you bring to the Quilting World.
