Introducing the Jolly Bar 3 Quilt Along

As sweet and addicting as candy, Jolly Bars are popping back up on the menu with a fresh set of fun, fast quilts! To celebrate the Jolly Bar Book Volume 3, we’re hosting the Jolly Bar 3 Quilt Along! The newest book in our Jolly Bar Book series – Volume 3 was just released last week and we are more than excited to see what you all create with it! The Jolly Bar Book Volume 3 includes 20 quilt patterns designed just for our exclusive 5″ x 10″ Jolly Bar precuts, and we have created the Jolly Bar 3 Quilt Along to combine blocks from the book into a cute tablerunner!

Starting Monday, April 5, 2021, we’ll be sewing a different block each week for eight weeks. The piece we’re making uses a sampling of blocks from the book, and all together they make an exquisite tablerunner that measures 22.5″ x 80.5″. We have some friends sewing along with us who will be showing off their blocks each week so you can sew along with them to get inspiration and encouragement along the way!

Kimberly stitched this block up using a Creative Grids Perfect 10 Ruler which comes in handy for cutting Jolly Bars!

  1. Where can I get a cute label? like Kimberly Jolly in the example? It says Kimberly Jolly
ENJOY THE LITTLE THINGS. It’s adorable!

  2. How do I send you pictures of completed projects from Fat Quarter Shop? I purchased the 2021 February surprise box and completed the quilt top for Cupids Bow that was included in the box. I’m so happy with it and will enjoy putting it out for next year.

    1. Hi Judy! You can send us your photos by DMing them to us on Instagram or Facebook. Looking forward to seeing your completed projects 🙂

        1. We don’t plan to have any video tutorials for this one. If you’re looking for a sew along with video tutorials you might check out Serendipity or Sewcialites. Serendipity just started and we have our next video tutorial on April 5.

    1. I would not starch as some of the patterns use the whole Jolly Bar, and the shrinkage would throw off the measurement there.
