2019 Threadology Quilt Along – Fabric Requirements

Welcome to the Fat Quarter Shop 2019 charity quilt along, the Threadology Quilt Along! We are kicking off this year’s quilt along with the fabric requirements for the gorgeous Threadology Quilt! Whether you decide to make the Threadology Quilt like ours using the Little Snippets collection by Bonnie & Camille for Moda Fabrics (quilt kits available here) or use your own, here are the fabric requirements to make this year’s charity quilt.

Also, be sure to read to the bottom for exclusive information on extra settings we will be doing for the Threadology blocks this year!

The Threadology Quilt Kit comes with lots ofgoodies  exclusive to the quilt kit goodies including the full pattern for the quilt top, an exclusive thread box , three small 50wt Aurifil spools (colors 2625, 2630 and 2405)and it all comes packaged in an exclusive keepsake box with magnetic closure!

Together, Fat Quarter Shop and Moda Fabrics will match up to $20,000 of your donations in 2019 to our Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas fundraiser, tripling each dollar you donate.

This year’s charity quilt along will benefit Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas! We are offering all of the patterns to make this quilt for free, we just ask that you donate $5 per pattern download to this amazing organization and 100% of the proceeds from the pattern downloads will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas. We are also partnering with Moda Fabrics once again, who has generously worked with us since we started doing these quilt alongs to benefit our community.

Happy Quilting!

  1. Kimberly your video touched my heart. I think it’s awesome that you are supporting such a wonderful cause and that we have the opportunity to contribute as well. My ten year old granddaughter has juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and I am so thankful to those who support the Arthritis Foundation! It is my pleasure to help Fat Quarter Shop to try and reach your goal for Make A Wish. Thank you.💕

  2. Love the quilt and love the cause. Our family has been involved in the special needs community since the birth of our youngest son with Cerebral Palsy, and have seen the difference that Make A Wish brings to the life of these extra special children. So proud to be sewing along,

  3. So happy to support Make-A-Wish. I was looking forward to enjoying the quilt myself, but it occurred to me that there’s someone who could use it more than me, so it’s headed to Boston’s wonderful Dana Farber Cancer Institute, which cares for children with all types of cancer. Gives me extra motivation both to make it beautiful and to finish it as quickly as I’m able. (I’m a new quilter, so the process isn’t always fast 😉.)

  4. I was watching the video on facebook today, and it says to join, how do I do that? Thanks
