Welcome to the Fat Quarter Shop 2019 charity quilt along, the Threadology Quilt Along! This week, we are completing the Threadology Quilt with the Backing Pattern (and it even has an accompanying video tutorial)! This year’s charity quilt has a very unique pieced backing that can be customized to feature any 4 of the blocks featured in the Threadology Quilt. We are also opening up the auction for the completed Threadology Quilt!

This year’s charity quilt along benefits Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas! The generous quilting community has donated $21,501 to date, and we hope to raise even more with our Threadology quilt auction on Ebay.
Threadology Quilt Auction
We are sew excited to have two Threadology Quilts for auction!
100% of the sale of these quilts will benefit Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas to support their wish-granting work for children with critical illnesses.
The auction is open on Ebay now through Monday, June 24 at 9:09 AM CST.
The quilts for auction are:

- Melissa Corry’s Quilt (@happyquiltingmc) using an assortment of Bonnie & Camille collections
Pat Sloan’s beautiful Threadology Quilt made with the Sweet Tea collection from Sweetwater for Moda Fabrics! This 52.5″ x 68.5″ lap quilt was pieced by Pat Sloan, celebrity quilter, teacher, author, designer podcaster and Voice of Quilting! The backing is also thoughtfully pieced, and Pat Sloan has added a signed label to the quilt. It is quilted gratis by Cindy and Dennis Dickenson of Pinkpaw & Co. Link to Auction
Melissa Corry of Happy Quilting Melissa is generously auctioning off her vibrant Threadology Quilt made with her own personal stash of Bonnie & Camille fabrics from Moda Fabrics! This 72.5″ x 72.5″ lap quilt was made and quilted by Melissa Corry, renown quilter, teacher, author, and designer! This quilt composition is her own design based on the Fat Quarter Shop Threadology quilt and finishes at a very generous size. Link to Auction

Threadology Quilt Along
We have a great lineup of quilters quilting along with us! Our quilters used a mix of the quilt kit (we are sold out however you can find the full fabric requirements to make a Threadology Quilt just like ours using Little Snippets collection by Bonnie & Camille for Moda Fabrics) and their own fabrics to make their quilts.

During our charity quilt along, we released extra finishing patterns you can use with the blocks! Thanks to donors like you, we’ve surpassed all three of our initial goals and our stretch goal of $20,000 in donations towards Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas! Here are the bonus patterns:

This has been another fun quilt along with a pretty quilt! I really love the pieced backing too. How generous of Pat and Melissa to donate their time, talents and quilts to raise even more for a very worthy cause. Congratulations on exceeding your goal.
