Classic & Vintage: Wild Geese Straight Furrows

Happy Friday Quilters! We are back with another pattern in our Classic & Vintage series: Wild Geese Straight Furrows! For those who are unfamiliar with our Classic & Vintage series, we focus on traditional quilt blocks and add a modern twist!

The Wild Geese Straight Furrows Quilt is a gorgeous vintage pattern that gives off a simple classic look and, combined with the all the other blocks, makes a great quilt! Kimberly made her Wild Geese Straight Furrows quilt using Jardin de Versailles by French General for Moda Fabrics. The hardest part of this quilt is the half square triangles, for which Kimberly used the 2″ Half Square Triangle Paper from Triangles on a Roll!

The complete Wild Geese Straight Furrows pattern  with four different size options is available for purchase at fatquartershop.com. To make a quilt just like ours, we have a Wild Geese Straight Furrows quilt kit and separate backing set available!

If you’re ready to sew along with us, grab  your supplies, download your FREE block pattern and watch Kimberly’s video tutorial for a step-by-step guide on making your block!

We are very fortunate to have 14 amazing bloggers quilting along with us! Check out their takes on the Wild Geese Straight Furrows blocks:
