2018 Valentine’s Day Projects

Love is definitely in the air! Valentine’s Day is definitely one of our favorite holidays and we are celebrating it this year with quilting projects. We have gathered some amazing projects made by our awesome quilters to give you some inspiration for a Valentines Day gift.  Grab a fabric you love and get ready to make one of these awesome projects for the special someone in your life!

Tablerunner of Hearts

First up is this beautiful Tablerunner of Hearts made by Nova. She used fabrics from Wilmington’s Berried Treasure collection and Moss Lane Batiks by Hoffman Fabrics and, for the heart pattern, she used both the 6″ and 12″ heart blocks from Lori Holt’s Spelling Bee Book. This is great for sprucing up any dining or coffee table and the gorgeous purples from this collection really make it pop!

Lovely Tablerunner

Next, we have the Lovely Tablerunner made by Elva. She used fabrics from The Little Things collection by Robin Kingsley and the Lovely Tablerunner Pattern from Tablerunner Bliss by Sherri Falls. The hearts on the tablerunner along with the reds and pinks from the fabric collection really embody the feel of Valentine’s Day.

Can You Feel the LOVE Tablerunner

Next we have the Can You Feel the LOVE Tablerunner by Sarah. She used the Ombre Confetti Metallics collection by V & Co. for Moda Fabrics and, for the letters, she used the L, heart, V, and E patterns from the Spelling Bee Book. The grays used to make this tablerunner provide a beautiful contrast to the whites and pinks and make for a great tablerunner on any day!

XOXO, Zipper Pouches

We are now on the XOXO, Zipper Pouches made by Krystal. She used Gleaned by Carolyn Friedlander for Robert Kaufman Fabrics and the Quilty Fun Book by Lori Holt for the X and O patterns on her zipper pouches. These pouches are great for storing notions and Valentines!

Valentine’s Day Bag

Finally, we have the Valentine’s Day Bag made by Deborah. She used Delilah by Doodlebug Design for Riley Blake Designs and, for the pattern, she used Kimberly’s Sac Bag Sewing Pattern. We even have a YouTube Video Tutorial to show you how you can make a bag of your own, perfect for storing everyday sewing essentials!

So when your’re ready, grab your pattern(s) and get quilting! If you decide to make any of these projects, be sure to share them on Instagram with #FQSvalentine so we can see and share your work. Happy quilting!
