How incredibly wonderful to have reached your monetary goal and to have to matching donations. What an incredible idea this was! Kudos to the quilting community for making it happen! I’m a New Braunfels resident and I know this will have a lasting impact on the region!

I was very sad to find out that Renee of “Sewn with Grace” had died. Her last post she shared how she broke her ankle and had been knitting her way to recovery upstairs. I hope all of us with gratitude for our lives today. I know my family would miss me terribly! I feel like Kaholly in congratulating the quilting community for all the contributions. Each $5 adds up to big results that change lives.

Hi Donna, we found out about her death recently as well, and are very saddened. Our sympathies, condolences and prayers go out to her family.
