We have completed our 2023 Stronger Together Quilt Along & Stitch Along fundraiser for the United Negro College Fund (UNCF). Thank you to everyone who purchased a pattern, shared a post, stitched or quilted along!
With your help we are able to donate $15,608 to UNCF!!
During the month of February, 100% of the proceeds from the sales of Stronger Together Quilt Patterns and Stronger Together Cross Stitch Patterns were set aside to donate to the United Negro College Fund (UNCF). UNCF believes in the idea that “A mind is a terrible thing to waste.” They have turned this message into a mission through awarding scholarships, providing financial support to historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), and advocating for the importance of minority education and community engagement.
This year’s quilt designer, Michelle Ramsay of Quilts Made with Love, captured this beautiful version of the 2023 Stronger Together Quilt made by Jess Zeigler (@threadedquilting) that showed at QuiltCon last week. It’s beautiful in Unruly Nature fabrics by Jen Hewett.
