Today we’re kicking off the auction for the Woven Hearts Quilt generously made and donated by Gina Tell (@gina_tell_threadgraffiti), supporting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
The Woven Hearts Quilt Auction ends on Monday, October 28, so be sure to follow and bid on the item for a chance to win it! This is a unique chance to own a beautiful, handmade quilt and raise money for a worthy cause. We’re thrilled to auction this beautiful quilt generously donated by our friend Gina Tell! Gina is a talented longarm quilter who shares her love of quilting on her YouTube channel, Thread Graffiti, and she has a passion for giving back. As always, 100% of the proceeds from the auction will go to BCRF.
Quilt Auction
Gina’s Woven Hearts Quilt measures approximately 68.5″ square and was made with the Dainty Meadow collection by My Sew Quilty Life for Moda Fabrics—the same fabric used in our Woven Hearts Quilt Kit and Backing Set. The all-over quilt design is full of hearts, and Gina stitched a small tag into the binding on the back.
This quilt would make a lovely addition to your home, or a gift to show someone you care.

Charity and Fundraising Information
We are now 3 weeks into our 8-week Quilt Along for the Woven Hearts Quilt and you, our amazing community, have already helped us raise over $6,000 for our fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation! With more than half of the Quilt Along ahead of us and the auction starting today, we are sure to meet (and surpass!) our $10,000 goal in no time.
Since 2021, Fat Quarter Shop is proud to have donated more than $45,000 to breast cancer charities with the support of the generous quilting community. This year, our fundraising goal is $10,000 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). This amazing charity is responsible for discovering the BRCA genes and they fund scientists who’ve made numerous breakthroughs in the treatment and prevention of breast cancer. For people everywhere, more wins against cancer can’t come fast enough, and we’re proud to join the fight. Will you join us?
