Have you heard about our new Wishes Quilt Along, beginning on the 1st? We announced the program earlier this month it’s creating quite a bit of excitement! Our first PDF pattern and turorial video will be available soon, but we wanted to help you get prepared for the Quilt Along to begin! Kimberly recorded a handy video with the tools you will need to begin the Quilt Along, and today we are going to tell you more about the notions we use throughout the program.
We have kits and backing sets available for pre-order. If you want to choose your own fabrics download the Fabric Requirements PDF! To sew the Wishes quilt, you will need a sewing machine with a straight stitch. Kimberly uses a Juki Sewing Machine. We also like to keep our fabrics organized while piecing using a Design Board. To keep our scraps in one place, we have a scrap bucket on the table at all times! And we keep all of the Wishes patterns neatly in a three ring binder.
These are the other notions that we will be using to piece the Wishes quilt. Be sure to check over this list to see if you are missing any big notions, and be prepared for January 1st!
