We’re Makin’ It Cute with Me and My Sister Designs

We’re Makin’ It Cute at the Fat Quarter Shop! We have a lot of special guests today to feature the NEW Makin’ It Cute Petal Pack by Me and My Sister Designs and It’s Sew Emma. These Petal Pack templates are great to embellish quilts, bags, scrapbooking projects, even headbands and apparel. The Petal Pack comes with five stencils that are great to use individually or layered together. They are also the perfect size to cut from 5-inch Charm Packs and scraps.

Here are some examples of different projects that Barb and Mary created with Makin’ It Cute during the 2014 Spring International Quilt Market with their upcoming LOL collection for Moda Fabrics.

  1. I'm going to make purses! Lots of purses! I will make a few for me, of course, but then I think I am going to make them for the other nurses on my unit for Christmas gifts.

  2. I'd like templates for simple circles, that could both be used separately and be co-ordinated with these flower templates.

  3. Ahh, adorable. I like the cap on milkshake at the bunny hill blog. hmmmm, I have a couple girls that would love to get dolled up and "Cute".

  4. I would like to see animal face shaped stencils with the facial features made with the layered stencils. A fox, bear, rabbit, frog etc. I would also promote the idea that the various stencils can be interchanged for more design possibilities.

  5. I plan to order 2 – one a a gift and one to keep – I have to grand daughters – one is very prissy! She will love it!

  6. Would love to see snowflakes but any thing the sisters come up with would be awesome love all their stuff:)))))

  7. How about animals – a giraffe or maybe just it's face/neck or a lion with its mane in parts? I like the flowers and hope I win. Thanks.

  8. Oh I'd love leaves – various shapes that you could combine with these to make garland! and snowflakes. oh and christmas trees!

  10. Such a cute little flower. With 4 grand daughters and several great nieces, I can see myself making may things from this pattern. I can see a girl quilt made using the individual flowers appliqued on with a stem and leaves. Cute giveaway.

  15. I would like to see Snowmen with these templates. They would be sooo darn cute and you could use them to embellish a lot of things for Christmas.

  16. Would love some holiday shapes like Easter eggs, tulips, pumpkins, holly & snowflakes. Not too intricate, but very simply to cut out.

  17. Circles would be very versatile. I just love these flowers – I have lots of ideas for using them, including fun crafts with my granddaughters.

  29. I my goodness, that is so cute! I've done crochet flowers, but with fabric? My favorite. My 2 girls would love these attached to most anything. Backpacks, socks, pinned on a shirt. Thanks for the giveaway.

  30. I forgot to tell what kind of pattern I'd like- I'm thinking geometric shapes. You could combine them in so many ways. Even add them to the flowers!

  34. Stars, hearts are the first two templates I can think of, as well as maybe some different shaped flowers, or leaves to add to the flowers!
