We are so excited to be featured in Quilters Newsletter Magazine’s Best Fat Quarter Quilts! This magazine is full of great projects that range from traditional to modern. There is definitely something for everyone! We want to tell you bit about our quilts featured in this issue, Trifles and Sew Little Time.

Trifles
Trifles will go together in no time at all, and as much as I love it in Double Chocolat, it will shine in any dramatically-colored prints, like batiks!

With all of the focus and motion created by the prints, all it needs is simple sashing for a fast finish. Hurrah for time-saving fat quarter quilts! What would you use for Trifles?

Sew Little Time
I LOVE Fat Quarters! Can you tell by the name of my shop, Fat Quarter Shop? And I happen to also love Sweetwater’s Mama Said Sew collection.

I love the simplicity of the colors and fabric design. I put together the Sew Little Time Quilt keeping the simplicity of this collection in mind. This is a sweet and fun project that will whip up quickly and work well with any fabric collection.

Do you have favorite fat quarter quilts? These two definitely just made our lists!

  1. We would love to see a full photo of the quilt. There is a new trend to have quilts draped over something, but we need to see the whole thing!

  3. Congratulations on being in QN magazine with not one but two awesome quilts! Swoon was one of my favorite patterns that used FQ's. Not quite as nice and simple as these!
