Notion of the Month: Olfa Circle Cutter

It’s time again for a brand new Notion of the Month! Debbie Taylor is here today to tell you a little bit about our January Notion of the Month, the Olfa Circle Rotary Cutter! And don’t forget, the Notion of the Month is 20% off all month!

Hey everyone! Olfa has an awesome little cutting tool we’d like to tell you about – the Circle Rotary Cutter! It cuts circles from 1 ½-inches to 8 ¾-inches. It may look intimidating, but it is actually very easy to use! This great tool cuts perfect circles every time from cloth, leather, paper, vinyl, film, wallpaper and much more. This cutter can be used by both right and left handers.

Still not convinced? We have a little demonstration to show you just how fun and easy to use this circle cutter is! Have a look and tell us what you think! Do you see abundant circles in your future?

  1. Wow that looks great. Because you can cut a circle in a circle you can really get some fun looking blocks!
Can you cut more than one at a time???

  2. love my circle cutter! i cut circles out of scraps … and stash them – sew many ways to use them. scrappy rag circle baby quilts, yo-yos, flower applique. am trying to fill a bagful for a project. have not tried two or more at a time, though.

  3. This is one of the best tools I have ever bought. Although I have to say that after cutting out 25 felt circles the blade was a bit blunt (disappointing :D)
I use this to create circle in my fabric and then cut a slightly bigger circle to sew into the hole, they can create felt circles to make trees and they are SO easy to use that even I have never had any trouble with it, that is saying something!
Probably the best thing I have ever bought in regards to cutting tools, even better than my rotary cutter.
