LOTS of Lori Holt QAL’s!
I am planning on participating in the QAL for both the snowman and the scarecrow. I purchased the patterns and associated FQ bundles when they were released. Is there a list of required fabrics taking into consideration the FQ bundles I already purchased?
This is my first @loriholt quilt a long and I’m SOOOOOO excited!!
Will there be prep
That should be done before the 25th?
Looking forward to this QAL using various Lori Holt fabric collections.
What is the difference between a sew along and a quilt along?
I’ve been waiting to begin the sewalong with you for months. I guess I will begin it on my own.
I’ve been waiting too, but haven’t seen where it’s started yet. My first QAL, maybe I’m missing something about how this works.
Hi,
I thought the Snowman was beginning today, January 25th? Am I missing something?
I never saw where the Quilted Snowman SewAlong started? Did it happen? If so, is there a link to the video I can watch? If it didn’t happen when is the new start date for Month #1?
I am so disappointed that I cannot find a cohesive quilt along for the The Quilted Snowman. I am hunting though videos to find snippets of videos that show very small portions of various blocks. I am also disappointed that I purchased .the kit which has “directional” background fabric used in every block. I found that “Becky with Power Tools with thread” warned us about the directional fabric and gave some tips on how to mark the back of your squares to make it easier to know which way the snowball corners should go. I am working on the Glitter Star blocks and no one seems to have a video. I found one that ran through the whole three squares in about 8 minutes. They did not use the directions in the book to make their squares so that was not helpful. This was advertised as a Sew Along. Very disappointed.
Where is the sew along? clicked all the links, it just takes me in circles, can’t find it!! I am rather disappointed.
