2024 Pieceful Baskets Sew Sampler Quilt Along
We’re making a basket-load of progress as we sew our way through this year’s Sew Sampler Box Sew Along, Pieceful Baskets, which measures 66.5″ x 86.5″ finished.
This sampler quilt draws on traditional sewing baskets for inspiration while becoming an artfully unique quilt. The placid blues and greens from Shoreline by Camille Roskelley create a sense of serenity and calm that carries over into each stitch. The Pieced Baskets fabric requirements, binder cover, and conversion PDF are available on the Sew Sampler Quilt Along page!

Charm packs are the 5” square blocks. This is my first subscription. I am “sew” excited to get it. I know, that was a really bad pun lol.

Mini charms?
Five inch squares (Moda’s name for them, other companies call them something else)…I love getting them because it lets me have every fabric in a collection for a relatively small cost—and I can make lovely baby quilts with one if I sash the squares and add a butter (two will make a throw).
A mini Charm pack are 2.5 inch squares(approx 42 in pack)
Charm pack 5.0 inch squares (approx 42 in pack)
Layer Cake 10.0 inch squares( approx 42 in pack)
JellyRoll 2.5 inch strips, width of fabric(approx 40 inch long,42 in the roll)
Hunnybun roll 1.5 inch strips width of fabric(approx 40 inch long,42 in the roll)
Other companies follow the same design but not allowed to call them by these names as Moda have the rights?
I dont know if theres anymore sizing that Moda do.

The colors in the charm packs (?) certainly look like Sunday Brunch … but the flowers look more like Cottage Charm .. so I’m confused. I so hope it is Sunday Brunch because I LOVE Basic Grey! My New Year’s resolution was to cancel the Sew Sampler Box (I’m Canadian and it’s way too expensive now) but … just one more box … lol
Piece and Plenty?
I love my sew sampler boxes! However , Januarys box said it was suppose to have a June Taylor project pag kit, there was not one in my box. I’ve called fat quarter shop and left a message and I have posted on the blog, yet I’ve gotten no response. I’m hoping someone will see this and help me out!

My local quilt shop received layer cakes of Sunday Brunch yesterday and the cut sides of them look just like the pic above….Can’t wait to see the pattern & notions!
