  1. Yes!!! Finally starting!!
I’m using NPI silks on 18ct Latte instead of called for materials! So excited to start this beauty!

  2. I think I am ready and ecited to start. I am using 14 count Aida fabric from my stash that I have had for so long that I don’t even know where I got it, and DMC floss from my stash with a few color changes.

  3. If I don’t want to use the 36-count linen (too scared to try) what would be a good Aida cloth to use?

  4. Quick question – why is there a break in the two flower stems on either side of the Bee Hive? Are the breaks supposed to be there? I’ve been trying to make my pattern line up to remove the breaks and I can’t…

  5. I started stitching soon after my kit arrived. The 36-count linen is beautiful but is a bear on my 75 year old post-retinal detachment and cataract surgery eyes. I am using reading glasses plus a large lighted magnifying lamp that rises up from a stand on the floor. I didn’t realize the 36-count would be such a challenge for my old eyes! But I will persevere.
