Spring Market 2011: Schoolhouse - The Jolly Jabber Quilting Blog

Spring Market 2011: Schoolhouse

[I am so sorry this is a day late, blogger was down for the past two days – but better late than never!]

Today the Jolly Pack went to Schoolhouse for the first time ever! For those of you who don’t know what schoolhouse is, it is basically pattern and fabric designers that teach “students”- aka all of us attendees – more about their products. What is more you say, more are the inspirations behind their work and some really neat projects. Well, here is a few things we “learned” today…
[Click on each picture to find out more about the product/ designer]

Tula Pink with Prince Charming
Oliver + S’ new collection Cape Ann
Kimberly and Amanda Murphy with Veranda
Gina and Cindy – part of the Riley Blake Team – taught us how to make embellished pillows

So cute – Riley Blake pillows and aprons with all of their embellishments
We just got this line in last week – Trick or Treat by Doodlebug Designs

Little One Organic by Katie Hennagir for Robert Kaufman Fabrics
More Little One Organic by Katie Hennagir for Robert Kaufman Fabrics

So after being a diligent student all day, we went to the wild n’ crazy… Sample Spree! We picked up a couple prizes to giveaway over the next few days, but sorry no peeking ’til each giveaway announcement.

The mad rush at Sample Spree
Moda’s Sample Spree bags were super cute with a retro car on the front

So, if you haven’t heard Cosmo Cricket went Moda on us, and their new line is so super cute – Circa 1934. Yep you guessed it, a Fat Quarter Bundle of this is today’s giveaway.

To enter leave a comment on this blog post telling me what you are most excited about seeing at Quilt Market. The contest closes tomorrow (May 14) at 10 pm MST. Ready … and … go!
