FREE Fat Quarter-Friendly Pattern: Fat Quarter Flowers

We’re back for another Shortcut Quilt, and this time we brought flowers! Fat Quarter Flowers to be exact. The FREE Fat Quarter Flowers Pattern features instructions to make the 52 ½” x 65 ½” quilt. Kimberly Jolly shows you how to make these beautiful flower blocks using Triangles on a Roll triangle paper for fast, accurate half-square triangles. Follow along with our free tutorial to see how easily this quilt goes together!

This beautiful quilt can be made with 10 Fat Quarters and 7” Half Square Triangle Paper from Triangles on a Roll. You can pick up the lovely Fat Quarter Flowers Quilt Kit made with Harper’s Garden by Sherri & Chelsi for Moda Fabrics! It brings the colors of the garden indoors. We even have a matching Backing Set to help you finish up your quilt!

So, let’s get quilting! The Fat Quarter-friendly quilt pattern looks complicated, but the technique for making the flowers is surprisingly simple! Follow along with Kimberly as she walks you through the Fat Quarter Flowers step by step!

  1. Thank You so much for sharing another free pattern with us! I will definitely be making this one in All Hallow’s Eve (left over from Witches Night Out). I did a little extra buying because I liked the palette.

  2. I love this pattern. I’m making it as 2 Christmas runners for my granddaughter and my grandson’s Teacher’s as their Christmas gift. Every year I make a runner for their teachers and this year I’m using this pattern. Don’t have my triangle papers yet so I made my squares larger and cut them down. I love Kimberley’s Tips. I have a fat Quarter bundle begging to to used lol.
