The pattern includes sizing for instructions to make the quilt in a crib, twin and queen in addition to the lap. This quilt makes a great gift and is very beginner-friendly! Kimberly shows you how to make these beautiful snowballs using the traditional method and a shortcut method using the Mini Simple Folded Corners Ruler.

The gorgeous Fat Quarter Snowballs Quilt Kit was made using Wintertide by Janet Clare for Moda Fabrics, BUT you can make this out of any Fat Quarter Bundle.

So let’s get quilting! Follow along with Kimberly on our video tutorial as she walks you through the Fat Quarter Snowballs pattern step by step!

We were so happy to have some quilty friends make their versions of the Fat Quarter Cubes Quilts with us! Check out their blogs to see their unique twists on the Fat Quarter Snowballs FREE Pattern!

  1. Why won’t the video play? It states it is unavailable and it’s not on YouTube?

  2. Thanks to the Fat Quarter Shop Sew Sampler that included the mini ruler, I used the ruler in a class taught by Doug. Saves time and very accurate. The Shortcut quilt looks good and would make a great gift.
