Hi everyone! Welcome to our first edition of our Sew Solid video series.
In this series of projects, we’re turning some of our favorite things into mini quilts. Since there are so many fabulous solid fabrics in hundreds of colors and hues, these projects are a really fun way to try them all! We’re getting super girly with our Nail Polish Quilt Tutorial. We modeled our block after Kimberly’s favorite nail polish shade, Cajun Shrimp by OPI.

  10. So many comments with exact colors … I love me a dark purple most of the time. Right now I have a beautiful aqua on my toes that I love! Since I only get my nails done rarely, I never pay attention to what the names are 🙂

  15. I can not wear just one color! Right now my favorite combos are Kiss me on my Tulips with Gone Gonzo and Black Onyx with Rainbow Connection (all are by OPI). My daughters call them my mermaid nails and rockstar nails.

  20. This is such a cute quilt. Gotta love nail polish. My favorite color is called Daisy Pink by Avon. It's a light color and looks fab on either your nails or even toenails.   28. I just had nails done this am! I chose OPI a melon red color. It was interesting to see all the quilts as I visited each blog. I was very surprised to not see aqua or blue as these are popular on nails right now. Then to see the lipstick quilt to match as a bonus!

  71. I usually like a deep red, but occasionally I will break out this great essie color – Pepperoni! It is a RED red. Yum!

  80. These were beautiful samples. I like the sized down bottles in Lori's quilt for a variety of colors and the pouch by Charm about you. My daughter is heading to college, maybe I will make her a pouch to hold all of her polish. I have been doing metallic polish on my toes this summer – nice and shiny. thanks for a chance to win and a great pattern and the ideas.

  105. I love reds any shade for the fall and winter months. Any bright fun color that makes my toes happy, be it yellow, aqua, pink, coral or even purple for the spring and summer.
