  1. Awesome box! I love the bag pattern. I have made a few but have to follow the video from Kimberly. It is much easier to see the instructions in person :). I love the mat, the fabric and the clips since I machine quilt my lap size tops myself. These should help. The pattern for the block is pretty. 5 stars again!!! Thank you FQS

  2. I loved this box except that my little package of clips only had one in it. That was a little disappointing. Super cute stuff though!

    1. Hi Alyssa, I have not seen a video on making this project bag. I too love to view a video instead of the written directions. Could you tell me where I can view this video?
      Thanks!

  3. Sorry, I’m very disappointed in this box. Not one thing is useful to me. First box in a long time that I completely disliked it. I’m sure next month will turn my frown upside down.

    1. Loved this box because the fabrics, patterns and sewing notions. The notions are awesome because it introduces use to helpful items we have never used or have used but the size is so portable. Can’t wait to use the quilting rings to control the quilt top organized as I quilt! Thank you!

  4. Such a wonderful box! I have thought of making a project bag but I just haven’t gotten around to it. No more excuses, now I have the fabric and pattern. Everything in the box is wonderful. Thank you, FQS!

  5. This box was SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! loved it all! This is why I stay subscribed to these boxes!!! You all are always switching up the contents, and it’s truly not repetitive!

  6. I was so disappointed in the September box. The fabrics were good quality but not a color group that I would ever choose. The other items were nothing I would use. I really hope the October box is the usual fun surprise,

  7. I loved this box but I have loved all of them so far. LOL It’s a little Christmas every month! You never disappoint!!

  8. I loved this box. The fabric is not something I would have chosen on my own, but I love it and realize it gives me an opportunity to try something different. Now that I have this, I will consider these colors in the future instead of passing them by. Thank you FQS!

  9. I love this box! Not sure yet if I will make the bag, but love the fabric. Thanks again FQS for always surprising me with things I might not have purchased.

  10. This was my very first month and I was ecstatic when I opened the box!!! I was so excited to see the balboa line, but now I have the sample of it and can’t wait to receive my 1/2 yard bundle!! The little appli fuse is awesome! Ok….a box full of awesomeness!!! TY FQS!!

  11. The box arrived just as I was getting ready to quilt a lap size quilt on my home machine, so I was excited to try out the quilt clips. What a disappointment! The design is really poor and they are extremely hard to twist open. Great idea, maybe try again with a different design/ brand.
I really liked the fabric and project bag pattern. I also had to have Kimberlys video on while making bags, so the written pattern was great!

  12. I’ve made the project bag, it was much bigger than I expected it to be and it went together easily. I can’t for the life of me how to use the quilt clips. 🙁 The appli-fuse mat will come in handy.

  13. I was disappointed in this box. I did not find the clips helpful. I broke one trying to get it open. The fabric was just ok – not really something I would choose. I did like the bag pattern.

  14. I was disappointed in this box. I did not find the clips helpful. I broke one trying to get it open. The fabric was just ok. I did like the bag pattern.

  15. I love my September Box and all of them! For me, everything is nice. Love the fabric collection and bag pattern. Thanks FQS and staff!

  16. I was very disappointed in this box. ☹️The ‘tea towel’ is very cheap. The clips are an old product trying to make a comeback. No one uses these anymore they are redundant. The pattern is ok but it would have been better to have a matching zipper instead of those clips. The fabric was nothing special. The only usable item may be the silicone mat as it’s see through. I hope October’s is better or I may have to cancel.

  17. I’m going to put batting and backing on that tea towel, quilt it and use it for a wall hanging in my sewing room! Favorite thing in the box. 🙂

  18. I was so happy when I saw the fabric included in this box! I was wishing so hard for it! I made the project bag with scraps I had on hand and am saving the beautiful fat quarters for a quilt. I won’t use the clips because I don’t machine quilt but I’ll pass them on to someone who does. This box is a real joy each month. Thank you, FQS!

  19. I thought this box was just so-so. The quilt clips are a better size than the last set I gave away, but like others have commented, it’s hard to figure out how to use them. They just feel like they get in the way. I’ll probably find a use for the pressing mat, but I don’t do applique. I know you have to offer things that hit a wide variety of interests and color preferences, etc, so thanks for trying to keep things relevant.
