Creative Grids 4.5″ x 8.5″ Quilt Ruler by Creative Grids
This rectangular ruler features easy-to-read black and white markings printed in 1″ grids marked in 1/8″ and 1/4″ increments. Use the black numbers (printed on white dots) and the 1/4″ grip sides to cut whole inches. The 1/4″ dashed lines printed on two adjoining sides aid in trimming seam allowances.

This has been the BEST box yet!! Everything in here will be used. Im so excited for the ruler. Useful size. I bought the finishing kit and my quilt is all cut, ready to go. Totally a wonderful box.
I am very excited about everything in this box! I have used the alphabitties a few times already (once with my barn block). If I put everything away right away in my sewing room, you know I love it and find it useful!
Everything in this box is fabulous! I’m so glad to have it…thanks for the thought and effort that went into it.
When I made the first Barn Block last month I said to myself, “I wish I had some Alphabitties” and then made my own cutting up card stock. I was therefore so surprised and happy to see real Alphabitties included in this box. I love all rulers and this one is a generous size. Pretty fabric, pretty pattern, TWO spools of thread – this was a great box (if it had been used as the April box last month I think there would have been fewer negative comments and disappointment for the birthday box). The Sew Sampler Box is the best present I give myself.
I’m very happy with my box. I was a little unsure about the ‘Alphabitties’ but other commenters are saying how useful they are, so I will certainly try them. The creative grids ruler will be put to good use. And I never say no to fabric. I’ve already used my 20% Jolly Bar coupon.

Also not sure about Alphabitties, can’t imagine not losing them in fabric, so might drill a hole for a safety pin…liked the rest of the box, ruler will be put to good use.
I am thinking about using a hot glue gun and attaching them to pin..one with flower head.
Donna, I love using the Alphabities as they help me keep all of my block pieces in order. I use them with the little binding clips. All of the pieces stay together and the letter helps me stay organized! Hope this helps!

Lovely box this month. Am using the ruler and alphabitties as l cut out April’s sew sampler quilt. The fabric is gorgeous, and l’m thinking of using it to make the Crossover quilt. What a nice surprise to receive a bonus pattern rolled up with the fabric. Now , l need some mini wonder clips to hold the alphabitties in place. Thank you !!!

As a Sew Sampler subscriber from Day One, I continue to love these boxes. There are always useful (and often new to me) notions I enjoy and the fabric choices vary across the spectrum from traditional to modern, and according to season. I really appreciate the possibility of buying the finishing kit, too.
I haven’t decided what to do with the fabric yet, but it’s cute. I LOVE getting Creative Grids rulers. I previously got Alphabetties in a box, but these are a different color so maybe I’ll be able to use them. Keep the great boxes coming. 🙂

This month’s box was AMAZING! You really outdid yourself with this one. I love the fabric, it was on my “to buy” list already, and the ruler is awesome. I used it to mark my granddaughter’s quilt for quilting and it’s the perfect size for marking the butterflies. I’m looking forward to next month’s box already. Thank you and keep up the good work!!

This was my first box and Wow! I love it!
Shortly after receiving it, I decided to finally tackle putting an on point quilt together. I had the blocks already made up, but I had never made an on point quilt and it was a bit daunting to me. Enter the Alphabitties! After laying out my blocks, I labeled them with the Alphabitties. I then transferred the letters to the quilt diagram. Those little letters have saved me from myself already! What an awesome find! I can’t wait for next month. 🙂

I love the Pepper and Flax fabric, however when I went to order additional fabric for the background all that was available was the finishing kit. I wish that when you send out fabric that additional fabric would be available separate from a finishing kit. But the box was GREAT this month. thank you the discounts for additional fabric.

This box is my favorite of the seven I’ve received. I adore the fabric! When I finish my current quilt, I am going to make the quilt from the pattern included, and I’ve already used the ruler and Alphabitties. Best box by far!!
