  1. I got so excited this month that I started the quilt NOW. What a trea this quilt is! I can’t wait to finish as soon as my finishing kit is here

  2. I loved the Petunia quilt/table runner pattern! Perfect for Christmas in July. This was a terrific box of fun.

  3. On a scale of 1-10, this months sampler box is 100!!!!!!!!!!! I love everything in it!! Thank you!

  4. Wow! This fabric is not good for this pattern!! Spring flowers with Christmas fabrics??? What the heck?? Shame FQS 🙁

    1. The little bit of holly is the only thing that says Christmas in the selected fabrics. Forget they are Christmas fabrics and they make a lovely summer quilt.

    2. I agree that the pattern and the fabrics are not the best match. Springtime floral fabrics will be my choice for the Petunias pattern. Individual choice makes quilting fun!

    3. Everyone needs flowers in December, don’t call them petunias if that’s offensive, use your imagination and call them Christmas Cactus….!

  5. I loved the Lela Boutique fabric and the pattern, and will probably use them separately. The design is subtle enough to use it as a spring quilt, especially with the blue background, but I’m going to save it for a Christmas project I’m planning and use other fabric from my stash for the petunia pattern. The Endurance blade was right on time!

  6. Got my pattern all cut out and partially sewn. Have enough of the fabric left to do the bright sguare. Been able to do this on every box, woohoo

  7. This was a very nice box. I was surprised by the Christmas fabric. I will find a different pattern. The Petunia pattern is cute, having grown up in a Petunia City it would be fun to have a Petunia quilt with the town’s colors. The Endurance blade will be well used, and the little thread cutters, and Betty Bits. 👏

  8. Loved everything in this box. And I’m definitely going to make the Petunia quilt.
    Great job!

  9. This was my very first box and I couldn’t be happier! The fabric choices from this collection are exactly what I would’ve picked myself. The notions have already been out to use…and I didn’t realize I needed them until I got them. Plus it showed up two days sooner than expected. Absolutely can’t wait for the next box! Thank you so much FQS!!

  10. Loved the July box. The Christmas fabric and pattern are a favorite and I can’t wait to make it. I have a friend I will gift it to when completed.
And pay no mind to negative comments (MD) you all do such a great job with the boxes. I’ve only been a subscriber since January but not one single box/item has disappointed me.

  11. Love the pattern and the fabric. The rotary cutter blade is just icing on the cake. Thank you FQS.

  12. This box was the BEST! I will use and enjoy everything that was included! The fabric is wonderful, the pattern is adorable and everything else is great – useful and appreciated! Thank you for putting together a fantastic box!

  13. Wonderful items in box. The petunia pattern will be cute in 30’s fabrics. Thanks for the great choices.

  14. This was a great box and I love the Petunia pattern and fabric. All the items were great too and I needed a new blade. Thank you FQS!

  15. I do love the notions (finally) in this months box … and the fabric is quite lovely. But I simply cannot wrap my head around why we would be given Christmas fabrics with a very spring pattern. It makes no sense. I rather have fat quarters and no pattern. Now I have to figure out what to do with non traditional fat eighths. Seems the monthly boxes lately just can’t hit the mark.

  16. I would appreciate receiving fabric and a pattern that is suited for the fabric.Christmas fabric for petunias….really? This is not the first time that the fabric and pattern do not coordinate. Everything else in this box is lovely.

  17. I love the pattern and the fabric…maybe not together but that’s ok! I’ll use them both, or make a Christmas quilt with a different background, it’s all good, it’s fun using what is sent.

  18. I like the fabric, but I understand the comments about wanting to match the pattern. Perhaps someone from fqs could recommend an alternative pattern — a free Christmas-y pattern on the site that those people could use the fabric in?

  19. Love the box, as always. I actually like the pattern and fabrics together, but I’ll use a different background to make it more Christmas-y, perhaps a pale grey.
