Our September Sew Sampler Box is going to be extra ‘sweet’ this month. We teamed up with our friends at Martingale and created a bonus pattern from Susan Ache’s upcoming book, Quilt by Color. In this book, Susan shares her secrets for making stunning, scrappy quilts by color! The bonus pattern featured in this box is exclusive to Sew Sampler members only and you’re gonna love it.

      I will receive my very first Sew Sampler Box this month. I am so excited!! I’ve looked through some of the posts of past boxes and I think they are wonderful!!
      Just curious, when did the first Sew Sampler box come out?

  21. My guess is fabric from the Moda Color Cuts line to go with the pattern! Whatever it is, I’m sure I’ll love it. I’ve never been disappointed with my Sew Sampler box because there are always useful items. My daughter sews too, so any duplicates I get, she’s happy to take off my hands. She loves “Mom’s Quilt Shop”😂😂

    1. Sugar creek please! Adore Corey Yoder. Can’t ever go wrong with her in my opinion 😍😍😍. I am not sure exactly when I receive my first sew sampler box but I’m thinking it’s been around a year. Time goes by sew fast lol. I haven’t loved every fabric or maybe every single gadget or notion and not every single pattern. Yet I have always loved every single sew sampler box. I can always say I have always gotten more than my money worth, always gotten excited for delivery and always been happy with the box. Sending new subscribers and those receiving their first boxes love and wishes for you to enjoy and to get as much joy from your box as I do 😍😘

  24. My anticipation button has gone haywire – wondering what we are going to get – martingale does wonderful books but a book won’t fit in the box – am excited to see the new pattern – love getting things just for us… So excited!!! Now will be watching my mailbox!

  28. I’m going to be gone the 10th to the 21st don’t want to miss the September box. When can I pay for it.?

      1. It is only auto deducted from your account if you originally signed up that way. I have to pay every month. Have tried to go back in and change that but have not figured out how.

  29. Hmmmm…. I am thinking fat quarters from the fat quarters club that Kimberly was talking about on livestream….

    1. Bettie if u call them they would be happy to do an auto deduct. I was signed up with pay pal and I didn’t like having to pay monthly. But the fine people at FQS was happy to set me up on auto pay so I don’t miss an e-mail and it gets postponed until paid.

  31. I’m always excited to get my new box. I wait with anticipation for a parcel locker key to be in my mailbox. There are always yummy, fun, things inside when it arrives. Yay! 🤗

  32. I have no idea what will be included, but I know it will be wonderful! It’s going to be hard to top the August box, which was one of my all-time favorites!

  37. Oh,the book looks great, I love scrappy. It will be fun to have our own exclusive bonus pattern, surely it will be scrappy! Will the fabric name have “Sweet” in it? Months seem to fly by, since joining Sew Sampler, loving the surprises and all aspects of the club! 🙂

  44. Sew Sampler membership was open briefly last month, so I signed up (I think). How do I know if/when I’ll start receiving the box?

    2. I’m sure it all will be “SWEET”!!!!… and I’m guessing a table runner pattern, sugar sack fabric, and a bobbin case. We’ll see!

  54. I hope it is some way to use the bit and pieces left over from past sew sampler projects. I think it would be a great way to have a scrappy mix from the whole year. I love my boxes, and never want to stop getting them.😍

  55. Hi Heather! I like to stitch a block and make pot holders and other small items with the leftovers. Great gifts! I try to use all the fabric each month. The operative word here is TRY! Have to admit, I am way behind, but I really love these boxes!

  63. My husband has made up a silly song about 500 little green boxes that make 5000 little green squares. 😆 I dont care, I LOVE my sew sampler boxes. It’s like it’s my birthday and I get a present every month.

  64. Maybe an early “taste” of Summer Sweet fabric? I always look forward to getting that cute little aqua box in my mailbox each month. Oh, the anticipation! Thank you, Kimberly & Co for all the effort you put into the Sew Sampler boxes. You make us feel like little kids again, waiting for the mail person to bring us a little box of happiness! 😊

  67. I was already so excited to get Susan Ache’s book, so I’m super excited to receive a box with a bonus pattern. Fabric and notions? I know they’ll be fabulous, too! Have really enjoyed every box since I started receiving them last November. Even when one hasn’t blown me away at first glance, I’ve found that if I go on faith and make the project, I inevitably love it! Great way to ensure that I produce handmade gifts for friends throughout the year. I really appreciate that you mix it up relative to fabrics, patterns, and techniques… would never have known that I LOVE FPP (among many other things) otherwise. Thanks, FQS!

  68. Hi all, Want to say first of all, love, love, love those boxes that come in the mail. Just for me!!!! With the stuff I love to play with! But I’m wondering if I’ve missed the notice to pay for my box? I checked the junk mail, hoping I haven’t missed it. Thank you for all the wonderful fabrics and gadgets that come in the boxes. Can’t wait for another box delivery!

      I have been anxiously awaiting the FQS e-mailed invoice, too. I have checked my e-mail multiple times today, it has not showed up yet. I will check one more time before I turn in for the night. Not that I am obsessing or anything! 😂

    3. You’ll be getting an email soon. Billing for international members starts today (9/17) and billing for domestic members starts on 9/18.

  76. This is my first Sew Sampler Box. It was meant to be. I received notification on my late sisters birthday that there were openings and I receive my first box in my birthday month. I’m really excited to see what is in the box.🤗😄😀

  83. My reaction to box: That’s it? I checked the literature to see if something was left out but no. While I like the items (except the patterns which I wouldn’t make), it is disappointing. Oh well.

  85. Mine was delivered today! The pattern is awesome!!
    The rest of the box is ok, not really my taste. But some of you I’m sure will have your socks knocked off!
    So often these sew samplers get me out of my box, and this month is no exception. What doesn’t suit me can always be regifted, or made into something to be donated

  86. This was my first so of corse I am excited! The pattern isn’t one I would have chosen – which is a good thing. I need to try new things and this is why I signed up. The colors are not typically me either – also probably a good thing. I have to be pried out of my own box sometimes. I’m going to start cutting now – bye.

  90. Got my first box this weekend. I loved everything in it and the box it came in! I have to confess, my fabric roll had an extra piece (11 instead of 10). I’m counting it as a “welcome” bonus, so thank you very much!!

  92. One of the items is the very thing I have been thinking of ordering! Great box, as always. My sister and I really enjoy the boxes as well as the previews. We have been members for 2 1/2 years and still look forward to the 23rd of each month! Fat quarter shop does not disappoint. We really enjoy all the effort you ladies put into these little aqua boxes!
