    1. I have been looking at the quilt kit for floral reef and I am going to wait now and see if it is in May’s box! I am so excited

  1. It’s Floral Reef!!! I’m so excited. I hope we also get some of Tula Pink’s new hardware such as a zipper and the anchor zipper pulls.

  2. Floral Reef by tula pink, it will be a good size beautiful quilt or maybe a beach tote?

  3. I hope the vault pattern will be the quilt from the first sew sampler box. It was a cute strawberry block. I am not a Tula Pink fan but my daughter is so I will gift it to her. She will be so happy.

  4. It would be fun if there was a project bag kind of thing, especially since that Tula line has such cute vinyl and zippers. Oooh – another cross stitch folio???

  5. Yeah Tula!!! I love Tula Pink, thank you FQS, I’m sure this box will be fantastic!! Hoping for one of the charms I’ve been seeing – an Anchor or even better – the S.S. Pink charm. A cute bag or maybe a bucket hat to wear to the beach would be really fun.

  6. I’m not a Tula pink fan. Hoping for a cat named stitch. Oh well can’t always get what you want. Hope there are other goodies I will like and be able to use

    1. No offense to the Tula fans but I was also hoping for Stitch, Tula colors and designs fall into an extremely niche group, I brought multiple tula lines along with all other designers that I wanted to pass along to my quilting club (large group) and tula bundles were the only ones left behind.

  7. It looks like Floral Reef fabric by Tula Pink… so cheery and fitting for a quilt that might be just right for a new Florida home. 🐠🪸🪼

  8. Not a Tula fan..will make a good gift…always♥️ love ♥️the notions
    Love FQS and thank you

  9. Not a Tula fan either, but so happy for those of you who are since the boxes don’t frequently have her stuff. I am sure my box will sell quickly through the swap group since there are many Tula fans out there! Happy Mother’s Day for those who celebrate it.

  10. i hope that it is not Tula Pink. Not a fan. Usually I love the boxes. Will have to wait and see.

  11. Yup, Tula Pink for sure! I feel meh about most Tula but I’m sure I can work with it and I’m sure I will love everything else about this box💗

  12. Hope it’s not Floral Reef, that is realy ugly! Sorry, just don’t care for those fabrics.

  13. Looks like Tula Pink fabric! She is very talented in her drawings! I’m looking forward to this Sew Sampler Box this month! Thank you, Kimberly and F. Q. S. Staff!

  14. It’s definitely Tula! Her fabrics take me out of my comfort zone and stretch my creativity. Nice to see a different style of fabric!

  15. I wish we had the option to opt out of one box a year. I would opt out of this one because I am not a Tula pink fan. I will definitely try to sell this box somewhere.

    1. I agree! Tula’s fabric is COMPLETELY different from anything else that is offered in the Sew Sampler boxes…the colors are so loud and obnoxious (imho)…. just looking at it makes me nauseous….

  16. I love Tula Pink and her new reef collection is gorgeous!
But …. May I say something? If you don’t like Tula, and I know not everyone does, why do you have to make it known and spoil the happiness of those who love her? When a designer is going to be featured that I don’t care that much about, I don’t feel the need to squelch others happiness by making negative comments. Just a thought.

    1. You should ask yourself why it spoils your happiness if someone doesn’t like something you like? Why can only the people who like something be allowed to voice their opinions?

        1. Because, apparently, that’s what makes them happy, I guess. If they aren’t going to get a designer they like, at least they can be happy telling us they don’t like them.

      1. Because, apparently, that’s what makes them happy, I guess. If they aren’t going to get a designer they like, at least they can be happy telling us they don’t like them.

        1. Actually….maybe the REAL reason is because FQS actually READS the comments and LISTENS to their customers. And MAYBE if more people would comment, FQS MIGHT offer an option to PAUSE their subscription for one month?

I prefer to read “negative” comments as “constructive criticism”…

  17. I like Tula fabric and I think that is what this month will be. Variety is the spice of life. Sometimes I don’t have a clue what I will do with fabric and just hoard it ’cause it is cool. Those who don’t like it can always take Bonnie Hunter under your wing, she says if you think a fabric is ugly, you just haven’t cut it small enough. There is that.

  18. I have done 2 of Tula pinks quilts, the dragon fruit and the wise guy owls and I love them and I love the colors especially because it is so different. I hope it’s the marine meadow pattern. I love that pattern.

sometime we get fabrics that are not our favorites I do them anyway and I usually have a granddaughter that loves the colors. I love all the different varieties we get in the boxes.

    Thank you FQS

    1. There was a pattern we got a few years ago very similar to Marine Meadow, so even if we don’t get it, I think you could use that one to make something similar. I’m excited about this one!

  19. I’m so excited about the Tula fabric. I was in Paducah in April and couldn’t make it to her exhibit while she was there and I’m still regretting that! This might be my favorite of hers yet.

  20. I’m not a fan of Tula fabrics. They are to wild for my taste. Looks like I’m not the only one who doesn’t like them. Very disappointed.

  21. So glad I cancelled my subscription. Price increased, duplicate items returning in boxes, and Tula Pink’s fabrics are hideous.
