Sew Sampler Box May 2022 Sneak Peek! - The Jolly Jabber Quilting Blog

Sew Sampler Box May 2022 Sneak Peek!

May Sneak Peek Header

Shipping Updates:

The following is a shipping schedule of outstanding Sew Sampler boxes, but as always, this information is subject to change.

You will not be billed until we are ready to ship out the boxes. We are currently estimating that:

  • The April box should ship out around May 6th.
  • The May box should ship out late May.

We apologize for the delays. Please know that this is completely out of our hands and we have been working with our vendors to get items as quickly as possible! Manufacturing and shipping have been a major challenge for most companies since 2020, and continue to affect shipments now.

Stay tuned for updates and we thank you for your support and patience!

We are going absolutely ‘wild’ about our May box and we couldn’t help but to send you a glimpse inside the box. Could this be real or is it make believe?

    1. I agree, I’m not fond of Tula pink so if it is, I sure hope I can trade it for something I’ve liked in the past boxes.

  1. I love all the different fabrics in my Sew Sampler boxes. I may not have purchased some otherwise-these give me the option to ‘expand’ my comfort zone and stretches my imagination!

Regardless, this subscription is always worth it!

    1. Deborah, your statement is absolutely 100 % true for me also! I could not have said it any better.

If there is something that I do not like (which is rare) or will not use & or already have in my sewing/craft studio, I give it as a gift to a quilting/sewing friend or I donate it to my wonderful local Quilt Guild or sewing Guild to use as they wish.

  2. Love my April box and the contents. Looking forward to sewing the Bee Basics project.. While I am not a fan of Tula or Kaffee if the May box is Tula it may get me out of my fabric comfort zone if not Ihave a friend who loves both. Either way it’s a win win.

  3. I do believe the May SSB will feature Tula Pink. If you are a fan of EPP, Tula’s EPP videos are one of the best tutorials on that craft!
She really does a great job of teaching EPP and her fabric looks gorgeous as English Paper Piecing quilts!
Thanks FQS for the super Sew Sampler Boxes each month!

  4. It’s Tula Pink. I hope the fabric doesn’t have a lot of yellow background.

  5. This might be a dumb question. I’m fairly new to Sew Sampler boxes. Is there a photo anywhere of the completed Bright Side quilt all put together?

  6. Ohh, I don’t know but I am super excited to receive my very first sew sampler box!

  7. I’m in agreement with everyone, Tula Pink’s Tiny Beasts. Can’t wait!

  8. Ugh…I do not like Tula Pink fabric. I’ll have to gift it away or trade with someone. I hope the pattern it comes with is good. I wasn’t impressed with last months pattern at all.

  9. I am not a fan of Tula but I am sure I will gift it one of my friends ….who will enjoy it!

  10. Can’t wait to find out for sure, but agree Tula Pink. Haven’t used them myself, but always a first time!!

  11. New to these Sew Sampler monthly boxes. My question is the new Bliss Quilt Along cards they don’t tell you how much fabric is needed. Is the only way to create these is is buying the quilt kit for $124.98?

  12. Received my box yesterday and enjoy seeing what neat things are included. I’m not really a Tula Pink fabric lover but the ones included have possibilities. The pattern is one that I can use with my grand niece who comes to my house on Fridays to learn the intricacies of making quilts. Thanks so much for all that you do.
