Celebrating 10 Years of Sew Sampler
Since April 2016, we’ve shipped 120 blue boxes filled with quilting goodness to our amazing members. Your creativity and love of quilting have helped shape Sew Sampler into the wonderful community it is today, and we are sew grateful to celebrate this milestone with you!
To mark the occasion, we’re opening the Sew Sampler Vault! For the first time ever, 12 of our most requested exclusive Sew Sampler quilt patterns are coming back.
From April 2026 through March 2027, one quilt pattern from the Sew Sampler Vault will be automatically included as a printed pattern in each monthly box shipment as a special bonus for members, at no extra cost! The exact pattern each month will stay a surprise until your blue box arrives. A little quilting mystery to keep things fun!
Non-members will be able to shop the monthly Sew Sampler Vault pattern separately, as a paid PDF pattern, only.

I really hope it’s NOT Sunshine & Dandelions because I just checked out these fabrics and sorry, but they are not pretty. I’ll get the box but I’ll throw the fabrics away if it’s this collection.
Lol, I couldn’t agree with you more. I am getting burnt out on receiving what seems like either ugly primary and bright colorways or really juvenile prints like the tennis shoes in sunshine and dandelions. I thought sampler meant variety but it’s pretty rare when or if we receive a primitive bundle or dark saturated colorway.
Perhaps you would consider donating the fabric or making a quilt and donating it to Quilts for Kids or a similar organization using one of their free and easy patterns rather than throwing it away. That is what I usually do when the fabric doesn’t match my aesthetic.

I’d love to have some calmer colors and more traditional fabrics for a change. And I’m sorry but this collection feels like ‘cheap’ fabrics for me not brand fabrics.

Honestly, some of the fabric choices lately are unheard of designers to us! I dont care for butterflies in my projects and the colorways are too extreme. Give me Heather Briggs, Sherrie and Chelsea, Beverly Mccullough or Lori Holt!!

I would love to see some Camille Roskelly or Cory Yoder prints. I really don’t like the fabrics we’ve received lately. I’ve given all away.

I have also been a subscriber for years and while I love the majority of boxes I receive, occasionally there is a fabric I’m not crazy about. I like to use those fabrics in charity quilts. There are a lot of great charities that distribute quilts to children, veterans, the elderly, ALS patients, etc. Some charities will even take fabric. Just a thought if you like getting the box but don’t always like the fabric. FQS does a great job putting the box together and I really look forward to my Sew Sampler box each month!

I’ve been getting Sew Sampler boxes for years, not one have I not loved. I get things in this box like new fabric lines, thread and new gadgets that I would have never known about. I appreciate the time and effort that FQS staff puts in to make this box GREAT!!!! Thank you Kimberly Jolly and the FQS staff!!!!

I think that pink butterfly is just a prop for the picture. It doesn’t look like it would be a notion.
I agree, it looks like Sunshine and Dandelions which I will surely not use at all. So not my aesthetics. Loved the last few boxes though.
I’m excited for all the things! This is my 3rd box so far and I’m pleased. Not everything has been something I’d look for, but that’s the purpose of a mystery box. You get a surprise. I’ve gotten things I’ve never thought about. So, I love all the boxes for that reason. Maybe after I’ve been getting them for a long time, I’ll have a different opinion. But I don’t see that happening.
I am excited to see what this box brings..and when/if the fabric is not exactly my style I have sold it on the destash FB group. It is also very easy to use in one of the many charity quilts my guild does each year. I am SURE there are subscribers who want more Tula/Kaffee/Anna Maria fabrics and when they get something I love they are not super excited. That is the fun of it all. You might just find something cute or new that you didn’t even know was out there. No need to complain. You can cancel, resell, donate, use for a friend who might love it..
And I am very grateful that I can purchase these boxes given everything that is going on with the World.
