Quilty Fun Blog Tour & Sew Along: Fall Leaves

Happy Monday and welcome to Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet’s Quilty Fun Blog Tour & Sew Along! We are months away from Fall, but we can still celebrate the season of falling leaves by sewing some up! We are teaming up with Jodi of Pleasant Home to sew the Falling Leaves blocks in the Quilty Fun Sampler, so get out your sewing manual and get started!

Kimberly’s Fall Leaves made with a healthy mix of Lori Holt fabric. P.S. She can’t wait for Vintage Happy to arrive!

Debbie’s Fall Leaves made with the sweet Sidewalks collection by October Afternoon.

Download the cutting PDF to get started on our blocks. There are only four little falling leaves in the Quilty Fun Sampler, but if you have fallen for Fall you can make the Fall Leaves Table Topper for your Autumn decor. Top it with pumpkins for some added festivity.

Once your blocks have been sewn, be sure to add a photo or two to the Quilty Fun Sew Along Flickr Group for a chance to win this week’s prize. This week, we are giving away two $15 gift certificates to Fat Quarter Shop and one packet of Alphabitties. Three winners will be announced right here next week, so sew your leaf block quickly!

The winners of last week’s giveaway are Michelle Forster, NancieAnne, and sandra.dart!

Check back next week to see if you won a Quilty Fun prize and to start sewing the Neighborhood Houses with Diary of a Quilter!

  1. Thank You Fat Quarter Shop! I'm going to put that thread to good use! Those little Tulips are probably my favorites thus far, along with the baskets! It's just that I felt I could go on making tulips all day!

  2. The sashing pieces in between the leaves, the PDF says to cut them 1 1/2 inches in width but the book says 1 inch. I followed the PDF and my block is 1 inch too long (14 1/2 inches), which measurement should I have used?
