Today we’re kicking off the Perfect 5 Quilt Along for the Perfect 5 Quilts Book by It’s Sew Emma! This book is a celebration of one of our favorite precuts, the 5″ Charm Pack. Our Perfect 5 Sampler Quilt is a taste of all the quilts, as blocks from all 16 quilts are included.
We will be making two blocks every Wednesday from October 9 to December 4! We have a fun lineup of bloggers who will be sharing their blocks (and other Perfect 5 inspired projects) with us during the event!

We have the full Fabric Requirements HERE for you to use and pick out your fabrics for the Quilt Along. You will also need the Perfect 5 Quilts book and Perfect 5 Ruler to help you complete the sampler quilt.
This week we’re starting with the first two blocks in the book, Animal Crackers and Gingerbread with Tracie Henkel of Riceford Streams.

Do we make 1 of each block,since it’s not mentioned???
Sorry but it says number of blocks right under the block image. You will make one Animal Cracker and two Gingerbread blocks. Hope that helps 🙂
Could you tell us the width of the outside borders. I would like to cut the long borders first to get the full length needed.
Yes, the borders are made from eight 2 ½” x width of fabric strips.
