  1. I can picture this pattern finished with Camel Creamery Neutrals 6 for an all seasons quilt!

    ppfarrington(at)yahoo(dot)com

  2. This would look great in Rock n' Romance by Pat Bravo. I would be tempted to throw in a few of the yellows from Kaye Prince's blogger bundle, too!

  3. This would look awesome with the Black and White by Michael Miller. The chevron style would be great for the stark contrast of the black and white. 🙂

  4. I think this could make a super-cute Valentine's day quilt if you used the Flirt collection by Sandy Gervais for Moda.

  5. There are too many awesome collections to choose just one 🙂 but I think Kate Spain's Cuzco would be gorgeous in this great pattern.

  6. I have to second the first commenter — I think it would look wonderful in Chicopee — it would show off the different colors/tones well, and the small prints would work even in the smallest strips, especially the ladder dot.

  7. I love that quilt pattern and think that it would look gorgeous in the Buckland Shelburne Falls collection by Denyse Schmidt … the collection isn't out yet but I am eagerly awaiting it. 😉

  8. Would you believe Berenstain Bears for Moda Fabrics? lol I think I love them more than my kids way back then. They are so smart and I'd love to make a quilt with those fabrics.

  9. Sunrise Over the Rainbow Batiks Charm Pack
Laundry Basket Quilts for Moda Fabrics
    Sunrise Over the Rainbow Batiks

I think this would look fabulous with this pattern.

  10. Oooh I'd love to use the DreamMaker Rock 'n Romance Fat Quarter Bundle
by Pat Bravo for Art Gallery Fabrics. Thank you for the giveaway!

  11. I am surprised at my choice – not something I typically use – but I was looking for a collection with a wide variety of colors, definitely with some texture, but with tone-on-tone fabrics… this lovely crisp pattern would get lost in the busier prints. So I'm going with Cobblestone Stonehenge.

  12. I think the vitorious civil war bundle would be perfect for this pattern. It has just the right amount of contrast and would be easy to strip piece into this beautiful chevron pattern.

  13. I think that Asian Peony would be very pretty. Thanks Mariane Huckleberry

  14. This pattern looks good for boys. I think any of these would be great for this pattern: Run, Run Robot! by Studio 8, All About Boys by Debra Jordan Bryan or Outer Space by Vita Mechachonis.

  15. I have to explain my selection! The pattern name "Scout" made me think of "To Kill a Mockingbird" movie with Gregory Peck….in black and white. Being a media specialist I naturally connect things to books!
So the collection I thought would be best for this pattern is Mystique by
Lila Tueller for Riley Blake Designs. It has enough contrast to still show the pattern and will be a great quilt in any decor. Thanks, k

  16. I would choose Pheobe, Another Point of View for Windham Fabrics. The quilt pattern reminds me of feathers and I love the subtle color shifts of gray and purple in this palette.

  17. Seascape would look amazing! I LOVE anything to do with the beach, water, sand, sea, etc. It's a beautiful, calming, soothing color palette.

  18. I think I would like to see this in Phoebe by Another Point of View. It would be almost understated, but I love the violet and gray color scheme

  19. GREAT CHOICE CODI!!! I would have to choose Willow by My Mind's Eye for Riley Blake Designs. Wonderful line!!! Happy Quilting y'all!!! Brandi Pond

  20. I think this would love amazing in the ombre solids from Simply Color by V and Co with some of the prints thrown in for variety! christina112358 at gmail dot com

  21. I think this would be charming in Chocolate Sundae Batiks by Hoffman- with a flannel or maybe minky back too- soft and cuddly- just right for curling up with a good book!

  22. I would choose "mama said sew" collection, I always love the red/white/grey colour combination,
    thanks for the chance,
    katelijn

  23. I think it would be lovely in Lynette Anderson's follow my heart fabrics.
Thanks for the chance to win such pretty fabrics.
    Regards from western Canada,
    Anna

  24. I'd love Cruzin' by Barbara Jones of Quilt Soup for Henry Glass Fabrics
because it reminds me of spring and the prints are gorgeous.

  25. It is "Coming Soon", but I would choose Comma by Zen Chic for Moda. It is not too busy of fabric and could be a quilt for a guy or girl.

  26. I Think the Silent Film colors of Kona Solids would look so good with this pattern – it would look like birch trees on a grey winter day!! I would add a little pop of color like a red as the final color, like cardinals in the trees.

  27. Oh man, such a tough one! For bold, I say Dear Stella's Gilt Trip, but for something softer, I'd go Dear Stella's Cleo!

  28. I love this pattern! (I have it-smile)
I think it would look amazing in either Amy Butler's Alchemy or Avalon by Fig Tree. :o)

  29. I think this pattern would look really REALLY good using Elizabeth Hartman's Blogger's Choice bundle. This pattern just screams little boy to me and so does the bundle!! Thanks!!

  30. Because the herringbone pattern in this quilt reminds me of a classy men's jacket, I think it would look dashing made with Somerset Shirtings by Julie Hendricksen and Nancy Gere for Windham Fabrics.

  31. I would choose Malka's Simple Marks for this pattern. I think the richness of the colors and the range would make for a lot of visual interest.

  32. I would love to see this quilt in either Marmalade, 2wenty Thr3e,
Pam kitty, or Sew Mama Sew. Thanks
    for te chance to win!

  33. I think it would be fun to use Independence Trail by Minick and Simpson. A little modern, a little traditional, all blended together.

  34. I would like to see it in Juliet by Anna Griffin. I think this fabric collection would make it ephemeral, and really bring out the feather-like design of the quilt.

  35. Sweetwater's Noteworthy! Love, love, love this pattern and I have a great niece named Scout so I could make it for her. Keeping my fingers crossed & thanks for the chance to win! 🙂

  36. I would love to try this in the sketch screen texture fabrics. They are not a collection per se but it would create an amazing effect I think!

  37. Plume Fat Quarter Bundle
Timeless Treasures Fabrics, the colours are rich. The Scout Pattern suggests feathers to me so I think these fabrics would be delightfully apt. Thanks, I have enjoyed this exercise and have seen some great fabrics on the way…grace55(AT)hushmail(DOT)com

  38. I think this would be great in Ticklish by Me & My Sisters. I'd probably use their solid suggestions from their designer bundle.

  39. I would love to see this done in the Ikebana range by Dear Stella. I think the combination of green, blue, white and grey would result in a stunning quilt.

  40. Zen Chic's Comma would look great in this pattern! I would add some solids and supporting tonals. I would love the bright colors!

  41. I think "Paris Flea Market" would be the perfect collection for this quilt. This collection would bring a fresh feeling to this pattern. Hope I get chosen!!! Thanks for the fabulous website!

  42. I'd love to make this pattern from the upcoming "Angels Among Us" line of fabric. It would make a wonderful additional to the back of our couch! Thank you for the opportunities you provide with your contests!

    mvmstreich@gmail.com

  43. I think this pattern done in the teal and lime colorways of Textured Basics would make a nice modern quilt for a guy.

  44. I think it would look great in Noteworthy by Sweetwater!! Looks like a great pattern. Thanks for the chance to win.

  45. I think PB& J would be fantastic for this pattern…hmm making a note on my pin board as we speak!
