37. Since I have all boys, I naturally gravitate to the more masculine, fun & funky collections, and I think the new Rockets & Robots by Blue Sky Studio would be fantastic in this! I could see using the different colored "gears" prints with a bit of the stardust & stripes thrown in….a splash of the busier prints here and there for fun….would really play well with the geometric design of the quilt!

119. I am having a sewers block (similar to a writers block) that I am hoping you can help me with. I am an avid sewer, but have never taken on a quilt project even though I have wanted to several times. The block comes in when it's time to decide on the fabric! I love all the Ellie Ann fabrics but I am overwhelmed with how to get started and the significance of the "term fat quarter" is not clear to me and I can not seem to formulate a clear idea of just how to begin. I would love to do a Spring Quilt in Ellie Ann fabrics – perhaps a kit is the way to go for a newbee – any advice?

142. I am STILL loving Carnaby Street. My fat quarters of the collection arrived this past week and I can't wait to cut into them. The pattern has been laying on my cutting table and I've read it over and over. I have to admit that I am totally smitten with the more modern lines that are coming out. Most still have a hint of traditional in them and that satisfies me.
