Wow, we’ve been so busy adding new stuff to our site, I almost forgot to post the winners! Just kidding, that would be mean 🙂
So up for grabs were these two lovely bundles from Moda — Rouenneries by French General and Authentic by Sweetwater. One by blog and one by tweet. Thank you for all your input and comments, it really helped motivate us to keep on going and blogging and tweeting!
Here are the two winners! Please e-mail me at email@example.com for your Fat Quarter Bundle — whoever emails me first gets their first choice!
SherriQuilts from Twitter: “@FatQuarterShop I’ve just visited your blog–the photos and giveaway are the BEST! I’d love to see photos of booths, patterns, and fabric!”
Kenton and Marianne Ogg from the blog: “I’m impressed that you even blog while you are there! I mean, we love to read about it and live through you, but I would be exhausted and probably a bit overstimulated. Thank you for keeping us up to speed! I would love to see the finished products, quilts that are brought and displayed. I’ll try not to drool on the keyboard…”
Also, we finally sent out the last block for our first Designer Mystery Block of the Month club, where 12 talented designers each contributed one block design, which created a beautiful sampler in 3 Sister’s Peace on Earth fabric. Which just means…
We’re about ready to start the 2009 Designer Mystery Block of the Month. 😛
This year’s quilt will use Glacé by 3 Sisters, and there is also a finishing kit designed by our friend Brenda Riddle of Acorn Quilt & Gift Co. This BOM is our home page and newsletter feature of the week, so you can see a bit of it there too! The colors are romantic, and the quilt really sparkles. It starts in June, so use May to sign up 🙂 Call or e-mail if you have any questions!
If you did the first BOM, what did you think?
I’m so excited…I loved, loved, loved the market posts!!! Thanks again!!!
Congrats to the winners! I didn’t get computer time this weekend, so missed out on the awesome giveaway! It looks like you had a great trip to market and the new stuff looks too cool!
Congrats to the winners! What a nice gift! Thanks Jolly Jabber for all the exciting updates while at market..it was fun to “tag along”. 🙂 Chris
I did the first Designer Mystery and LOVED it! I started putting my quilt together this weekend and it’s wonderful. Can’t wait for the new one. Thanks for doing such a great job…there’s ALWAYS more than enough fabric, even if I goof!

The first Designer Mystery BOM was terrific!
That’s a great gift! I missed the giveaway too.
I love the photo’s of the market.
I have a tradition to go to the quilt festival in Houston once every two years, and stay with family.
It’s been more than 5 years ago, I have to go this year.. I miss the quiltshows, fabrics and all the fun.
Didn’t do the ’08 BOM, but I’m in the ’09 and CAN’T. WAIT. I fell in love with Glace as soon as Camille posted a sneak peek in Feb on her blog…and I’m super excited to get my pretty little hands on that BOM!
I did the first Mystery BOM and it was FABULOUS!!! I signed up instantly for the next one. Directions, pictures and instructions were just wonderful! I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I’m out of town and can’t wait to get home to see the last block and start putting it together. Looking forward to seeing the 2009 BOM too.
Hmmmm…I haven’t started it yet but all the blocks are in a beautiful box waiting for me!
I loved the first designer mystery quilt. I am so anxious to get it together. The colors were great and it was so fun to see the new square each month. Thanks for the fun year of surprises.
I absolutely loved that first Designer Mystery BOM! It was so fun to work on! Can’t wait to put it all together.
Half the fun was watching people post pictures of their finished blocks on their blogs. It felt like we were all in it together.
