HEART COASTERS!

Though it was hard to choose what to sew we decided to make the Heart Coasters that start on page 32. The combination of patchwork and ric rac is irresistible, and this project is the perfect way to add a bit of sweetness to your day.

Imagine starting your day with a cup of coffee or tea nestled onto this cute coaster – sew fun!

These sweet coasters also make an amazing gift, whether you make them for Christmas, a birthday, or Valentine’s Day!  If you’d like to make your set of coasters from the same fabrics we did, you can pick up Apple Farm fabric and some ric rac in our shop!

Wouldn’t these make lovely ornaments, too? Just add a fabric or ribbon hanging loop at the top center of the hearts! Or consider adding them to a decorative fabric bunting or making a mobile.  So many options!

  1. I like the Jelly Roll Jam II the best. After looking through the Moda Jelly rolls, I'm undecided. It's either Sundrops or Bread N' Butter. Both are really pretty. 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway!

  2. Hard to choose, but I especially like the Layer cake Lemonade pattern. As for Jelly rolls – Songbird Gatherings!

  3. I have made the Jelly Roll Jam and the Jelly Roll Jam II and I love them both. I have had my eye on Hey Dot or Flow fabric lines by Zen Chic for Moda Fabrics and Summerfest by April Rosenthal for Moda Fabrics
