We’re almost ready to start our 12th Annual Charity Quilt Along, Stardust! Our 2025 quilt for Make-A-Wish captures the magic of stardust that you can capture in stitches and bring into your home. We’re flying ever closer to the start of the quilt and stitch along, so let’s gather our supplies and get ready!
To make a quilt just like this one, pick up the Stardust Quilt Kit and Stardust Backing Set, available only at Fat Quarter Shop. The Stardust quilt finishes at 54.5″ x 54.5″ and is suitable for all levels of quilters! Our exclusive quilt kit includes everything you need for your quilt top, including fabric from the Summertime collection designed by Camille Roskelley for Moda Fabrics and a printed pattern—all packaged in an exclusive canvas tote bag. Each year, we have a blast stitching the coordinating cross stitch pattern for the charity quilt pattern, and the radiating stars and added texture in the Stardust Cross Stitch Pattern make it a must-stitch! We made our Stardust cross stitch with:

Our Stardust Quilt and Cross Stitch Pattern benefit Make-a-Wish Central & South Texas. As we look to the skies and set off into our 12th Annual Charity Quilt Along, we continue to be in awe of the generosity of this sewing community and inspired by the stories of the children who have been granted life-changing Wishes. In May and June, we will release the two parts of the Stardust Quilt Pattern and Stardust Cross Stitch Pattern.
A Special Wish Come True
This year, an Austin boy’s dream of visiting Disney World was granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Justin’s unforgettable trip included a magical stroll through the Magic Kingdom with Donald Duck and making special memories with his family. This was all made possible thanks to donations to our annual Make-a-Wish campaign. Thank you for your ongoing support!
Special Donor Gift!
The first 500 donors to donate an amount of $75 or more will receive a special limited edition Stardust Bear as a thank-you gift, and we still have some bears waiting to go home with their generous donors! This sweet bear comes with embroidered foot pads and a darling bowtie and will only be available to those who donate to the Stardust fundraiser this year. For each bear we send to a donor, we will also send one to a Make-A-Wish child, so it’s a gift that keeps giving! With every donation, we are closer to our goal of granting ten wishes, and closer to awarding each special surprise.
We are constantly blown away by the generosity of our community of quilters and stitchers, and we are excited to tell you that we have already passed the $20,000 mark! During the fundraiser, please give what you are able to because every little bit counts toward granting a child’s wish.
Together, Fat Quarter Shop and Moda Fabrics will make your donations go twice as far and match up to $30,000 of the donations raised! With your help, we will be sure to hit our $100,000 Goal!

Hello! Thank you so much for donating! We are currently waiting for the bears to arrive sometime in May. We will also send out a newsletter to all the eligible donors when they’re ready to ship!
