  1. I started making this last night. I used a layer cake I have been hanging onto for awhile. It is such a fun pattern and I do think I will have this top completed very soon. The only reason it was not finished last night was the fact that I did not want to iron anything last night. Thanks for creating such fun quick patterns. This would be great for a quick little Christmas gift.

  2. Love this easy quilt for me a beginner but I am confused. Five 10" blocks =50 inches minus 1 inch for 1/4 seam allowance = 49 inches not 48. Then minus 1/2" for sides is 481/2". Am I over thinking this. As long as all my rows are same length then who cares right?
