I am finishing up a Layer Cake Lemonade right now, as a Christmas gift! I made it between the lap size and twin size, and I have to say, it is my new "go-to" pattern for quick gifts. Easy way to show off great fabric, or fun quilting, and have a stress-free gift ready in no time!

KIMBERLY!!! I wanted to tell you that up until I found fatquartershop, I never starched my fabrics, and I always pre-washed! But……now I NEVER pre-wash (I do only buy fabrics from quilt shops fatquartershop, of course;)!), and I starch, starch, starch! What a huge difference in my piecing and cutting! I figured I'm washing it when I'm done anyway, so why do all that extra work!?

Anybody do this in a king size? Not sure why they never listed the directions for that, when they have every other size imaginable! I am a beginner, and don't want to try to calculate that and screw up such a large project!
