Named for its stellar combination of star blocks and churndash blocks, this quilt pattern is a great way to showcase lots of scrappy fabrics! Jump for Joy Quilt Kit
The Jump for Joy Quilt Kit includes 30 Fat Eighths, background fabric, and binding fabric from the Delightfully Yours collection by Sherri & Chelsi for Moda Fabrics. It also includes a print version of the Dashing Quilt Pattern by Coriander Quilts. Together, they make one colorful quilt kit that will make you jump for joy!
Dashing Quilt Pattern
The combination of star and churndash blocks in the Dashing Quilt Pattern really lets each fabric shine, making it an excellent option for showcasing lots of your favorite fabrics! While we used 30 Fat Eighths for our version, there are sew many ways you can make it your own. Here is what you will need, whether you’re shopping your stash or picking up a recent collection you’ve had your eye on.
For a super scrappy look
- 30 Fat Eighths
- 3 1/3 yards of background fabric
- 1/2 a yard of binding fabric
- 4 yards of backing fabric
For a less scrappy look
- 15 Fat Quarters
- 3 1/3 yards of background fabric
- 1/2 a yard of binding fabric
- 4 yards of backing fabric
