Jolly July – 2021

My favorite month of the summer has rolled back around… Jolly July! This year I’m once again partnering with two of my favorites stitchers, Priscilla and Chelsea of The Real Housewives of Cross Stitch! Priscilla and Chelsea have designed a gorgeous holiday pattern, And to All a Good Night, as well as four new Tiered Tray Tidbits and five new Dapper Doodads. This December I will “sleigh” the holiday game with all the decorations and fun gifts I’ve made. Cross stitch for the win!

Priscilla and Chelsea have some wonderful tips and ideas for finishing ornaments and holiday patterns in their new Ornament Finishing Tutorial video! With all of the holiday ornaments I’ll be stitching up, I need all of the finishing ideas I can get!

My 2021 Jolly July Projects

Not only will I be working on And to All a Good Night, but I’ll also be stitching up It’s Sew Emma’s newest holiday pattern, Peppermint Lane, as well as Lori Holt’s newest winter pattern, Snowballs for Sale! For four weeks, Priscilla and Chelsea will also be releasing a new Tiered Tray Tidbit each Wednesday starting on July 7! And for five weeks, they will be releasing a new Dapper Doodad every Friday starting on July 2.

I’m also going to be stitching up even more holiday patterns, and you can find them all on our Jolly July page. (Note: Several of the patterns and projects are coming soon, so if you see one that’s not yet in stock, you can sign up to be notified when it arrives.)

Schedule

Every day for five weeks starting Thursday, July 1, join me on our Cross Stitch Instagram and Facebook for Jolly July updates. I will show my progress every Wednesday at 9 AM CST on Fat Quarter Shop FlossTube. It’s not too soon to start thinking about Christmas, and these cute patterns don’t take much time at all!

We created a FREE downloadable calendar so you can jot down the details for each project you plan to stitch. This is such a great way to keep track of progress and it will keep you accountable. If you want to organize each project, then we recommend you pick up a copy of our Cross Stitch Journal. The Cross Stitch Journal allows you to record every detail for every cross stitch project, such as pattern, designer, time spent and floss and cloth used.
